[Show spoiler]I believe she leaves next episode but they do leave it open for a return she's not committing suicide or anything.

It was great to have thirteen back in the show! loved every bit of last night's episode... though with thirteen returning Masters will be leaving. I couldn't stand her at first but I kinda like her character now... it will be interesting to see how that plays out, when House mentioned thirteen was returning on monday, Masters was the only one who made a comment about that...

Don't really watch House anymore, but the guy 13 kicked in the groin was Damon Lindelof from LOST

Loved last night episode, the interaction between House and 13 was excellent..I can see House pulling the plug on 13 when needed after lastnight episode..

Like House said 'the ***** is back"

Something looked different about Olivia Wilde's face then when she was last on House. I would say she has added a few pounds, but it only shows in her face.

Yep. I also think it is the bangs. If I remember, she didn't have the bangs or they weren't as prominent. I kept telling my friends how square her head was during her run on House but her face has changed since she left the show and makes her even hotter.

Is this confirmed? I thought the same thing when I saw the guy but wasn't sure it was him!

Not at all. She looks fine. (Assuming you meant she looked chubby in the face.)

She looks very healthy. she's done like three movies since her last appearance.

She hasn't added weight, I was implying she has had more cosmetic surgery done to her face. She always had very sharp, angular facial features for a woman. Her new look makes her eyes look a little different.

Had "more" implies she's had some done, which I have never heard of. Maybe you just haven't seen her in a while.

So, what did you guys think of this week's episode?

I never thought I'd say this but I think I am going to miss Masters... at first I thought it was kind of lame the excuse they used of the internship for her to make the decision whether to stay or not but I have to admit I enjoyed the episode a lot... loved the ending with "You can't always get what you want"...

Didn't end in the big screw up I was expecting from Masters, but it was a good ep I thought

Funny thing is, when House signed her 10th LP for her, I told the TV (and my wife) "It's a test! Don't screw it up", and yet of course, predictably, she did.
The funny thing is I wasn't even rooting for her to stay in the team hehe.

I'm glad to see Masters gone. She kept House from more of his crazy tactics than past seasons. Very glad to see 13 back. Way more fun.

Right! I liked how both Wilson (definitely without that intention) and House set her up to make a decision for that poor girl... I actually felt bad for Masters when she lied to have her parents sign the consent... it was not like her... probably the reason why it made sense things ended with her not accepting to stay with the team...

I also liked at the end how she turned around to see House and he was no longer there...

Fox Renews 'House' For Eighth Season; Creator David Shore To Return
Quote:
After months of negotiations and a string of deadlines that came and went, Fox has closed a deal with Universal Media Studios to bring House for an eighth season, which is expected to be the medical drama's last. House creator/executive producer David Shore's does not have a deal beyond this season yet but one is underway and he is fully expected to return and finish the series. Also returning is the cast, including Hugh Laurie, who has one more year on his 3-year contract, co-stars Robert Sean Leonard and Omar Epps, who just closed their deals, and Lisa Edlestein, who is also expected to come back. All senior writers on the show will be back too.

Sticking point in the negotiations was the show's license fee, which Fox had been pushing to lower by almost 20% to $5 million per episode, something that was going to put pressure on UMS to cut the budget of the series, including above-the-line costs. I hear the final agreement is for a license fee very close to the $5 million Fox had been seeking. As part of its cost-cutting measures, UMS had gone to the 3 actors whose deals were up this season - Leonard, Edelstein and Epps - asking them to take salary cuts on the $175,000 an episode they had been making for next season. UMS had been partially successful as I hear Leonard will be returning at his old salary, while the other 2 will be taking a modest pay cut.

For years, House was Fox's highest-rated scripted show. A year ago, it was also the most watched TV series worldwide and is estimated to gross about $1 billion over its run. “Over the past seven seasons, House has redefined the medical drama and has given us one of television’s most compelling and iconic characters,” Fox's entertainment president Kevin Reilly said. “From the producers to the incredible writers to the unbelievably talented cast and crew, the House team is fearless in its creativity and I can’t wait to see what they have in store next year.” House is executive produced by Katie Jacobs, David Shore, Paul Attanasio, Bryan Singer, Russel Friend, Garrett Lerner, Thomas L. Moran, Greg Yaitanes and Hugh Laurie. With the pickups of House today and Bones last week Fox has secured its highest-rated drama series for next season. The two join previously renewed Fringe.
