I can't say I've been all that happy lately with the releases either Ozzman. Seems there there are only slim pickings around (pardon the pun).

At the moment there are only 2 that I want for sure....BB King and the Tom Petty Soundstage one. Other than that....I kinda feel indifferent about the others out there.

I'm really, really hoping they bring The Eagles: Farewell Tour 1 to BD this year. That is an amazing concert, even on DVD. I also wouldn't mind seeing the Dixie Chicks. The DVD of that was stunning and on BD would be spectacular.

But...there are 2 artists I really want on BD more than anything.....Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush.

Was Tori Amos Live at montreax '91 and '92 added to that list yet? This is just superb-easily rivals Dave matthews live at radio city for AQ.

I'm just starting to develop an interest in her. For some reason I never paid her much attention, just like Duffy! But I must admit I am liking what I hear so far from both of them. So, if anyone knows of a BD release by Tori or Duffy, please let us know!

I love concert DVDs..... but so far I'd say I'm still waiting for more artists I like to hit Blu-ray.... many are smaller or not as mainstream, so it may take a lot longer (until Blu-ray has wider appeal)

Currently I LOVE the Last Waltz, and the B.B. King, Roy Orbison, and Hendrix blus are all good....

Unfortunately most of the artists I like have deals with smaller studios, so they haven't made the "Blu-leap" yet.

I have about 80 or so concert DVDs........ I'd love to replace them with blus though!

I just picked up the BB KING disc a few weeks ago and must admit it's received several plays already. I just love the venue and its a solid disc PQ/AQ wise.

The R.O. disc is just stunning! I LOVE the monochromatic look of it, although I was a little worried when I bought it. The man is amazing and you can tell the invited select few lucky artists were in awe of him. This is one hell-of-a-disc!

I have AC/DC, Incubus and Foo Fighters. Someone mentioned there was Metallica? if so I would like that one. But AC/DC, Incubus and Foo are my favorite bands so lucky me.

I got the Future Sex Love Sounds Blu-ray from Justin Timberlake. But if there is a Metalica one floating around out there, I would love to get that one as well

Well this is the link right now it only looks to be on the Eric Clapton website store in a big special edition bundle, looks like reprise records but not shure, also the are doing a tour this summer and hopefully that would help with a BD release. http://ericclapton.com/Clapton-Winwo...ash/index.html
Hope putting the ad link in is ok

There may be hope of a blu-ray release then..... but certainly not in a "Package" like this one..... When the initial sales are over, and they sell the DVD by itself... HOPEFULLY they'll sell a blu-ray too.....

A lot of the concert DVDs I buy have footage directly from the "Venue Monitors" thrown in...... and that quality is TERRIBLE, so I can't really imagine much would be benefited in regards to PQ.... but AQ is the most important thing anyways, so I hold hope alive ..... (Just watched "Phish, Walnut Creek" and that PQ all around is atrocious, and the sound suffers from a storm that moved in during the show )
