This movie is RIDICULOUSLY RARE! The only time I plan on buying a DVD as opposed to a blu-ray, it has to be this difficult. I went to five different stores/locations until I finally found a copy at Suncoast of all places. I decided to get this for my mom--mamma mia for Christmas and we don't have a family blu-ray player yet (only my entertainment center) so I had to settle for the DVD. MAN the demand is high right now.

I presume it is because of the holidays and some folks see this as a fitting gift perhaps may have something to do with it.

Not really, but it is my job though. They are all not equal that is for sure. Some I just do not get why woman like them, and others I completely understand why they liked them. Sex in the City, I can see why they liked it. Traveling pants, didn't get it. Mamma Mia,(review up tomorrow) was corny but entertaining, but I can see why women liked it.

Mamma Mia Box Set - YouTube
Picked this up today at my local Big Lots as well...cool little set for less than $7. I'm guessing these are marked down so much ($25 on Amazon) due to printing errors. If you look at the spine it displays the DVD logo, with no Blu-Ray logo whatsoever. Weird thing is...there is no DVD disc at all in this set.

Well, this was an either/or scenario. They released this set with a DVD instead of a BD as well and just used the same outer packaging for both. It's kinda like what Warner did with the Harry Potter Ultimate Editions, using G1-height boxes for both the DVD and BD sets.
