I have at least 17 out of 50 (I have some individual films out of some box sets). I guess I am not doing too well for their taste in films.

I have 18 BD's and only 5 are on the list. I would have 12 additional BD's that I own as must owns -- other wise I wouldn't own them! Plus, I could only find a dozen or so of the remaining 45 BD's on the list that I would ever consider owning. Like most lists, it simply a list of somebody's favorites -- no more, no less.

Like what's been said: I think it has to do more with the actual transfer as opposed to the actual movie.

I have 18 of them, but interestingly one is on the list I haven't actually watched yet. I agree that the animation ones should be top on the list as animation is amazing to watch on Blu-ray.

LOL at lesbian ghost sex as being a reason to buy one I only have 2 of those but some on SD DVD that I would not buy on BD because they arent that great.
