Don't get me wrong.. I have the Blu and it looks fine to me as well. I'm just trying to figure out why they are re-releasing.

They're just adding a DVD to the release...maybe to get some more people to buy it...

As long as it's not the DVD case combo or a flipper I'm fine with that...

I saw this @ best buy today. No slipcover..just an added DVD. I picked Fargo up a few months ago (old version) for $10 and I'm fine with it. I'd say go for the older version since it will be cheaper.

Yeah, I just saw this film tonight for the first time, and much like djgeneral, I didn't think it was as good as everyone makes it out to be either. It started off well and then just kind of hit a wall for me after about 45 minutes.

I love the film, own the DVD. I wanted to buy the Blu-ray, but have read many off putting reviews concerning the picture quality.

You can't always base your opinion on a transfer based upon someone elses review. I've seen many bad reviews on this very website for films and then bought the BD and the transfer looks great, it's really all subjective (in some cases)
