The art choices have been excellent. The Smile art is more appealing to me than the art I'm used to seeing for it (great movie as well, everyone should check it out). The Jeremy art as well is not likely something a big studio would have considered using even though many studio covers are very generic there days). In the case of these two titles alone, the art evokes the era but still looks distinctive and fresh.

So the September release looks to be a TV movie? (I must have missed the first clue, unless it was hidden somewhere). Last edited by BarnDoor; 07-27-2021 at 11:49 PM. |

The first clue was not explicitly marked as such.

If it is a TV movie that aired on ABC, maybe The Children of Times Square? Would certainly fit the line in terms of setting, well-known writer/director, with MGM (they released it on DVD).
Might be a problem that it apparently aired on a Monday... Last edited by BarnDoor; 07-27-2021 at 11:58 PM. |

Well if it's from ABC and it played as an ABC Wednesday Movie of the Week, this should help (it even conveniently lists what played on a Wednesday):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ABC_Mo...ek#Filmography I also stumbled on this from YouTube, showing intro to 1982's Dreams Don't Die. Never heard of it, but set in NYC and the write-up sounds like prime material for FCE. https://letterboxd.com/film/dreams-dont-die/ Last edited by KJones77; 07-28-2021 at 02:58 AM. |

Seems to be with Multicom, so presumably FCE could access that library via VS. And it's been restored in 4K. It's all adding up... Last edited by BarnDoor; 07-28-2021 at 09:02 AM. |

Based on the Wednesday titles my guesses would be:
That Certain Summer Go Ask Alice Trapped not necessarily the small drama that FCE is known for, but it takes place in NY (and Kino, I think, said it was with another label) Last edited by DWeickerSr; 07-28-2021 at 02:23 PM. |

Trapped has been a wish list title for me for a while since I heard about it on a podcast (can't remember which one). I assume Vinegar Syndrome would flag that one for a future TV Terror set if it was an option and they're still planning more of those though. Outrage stuck out as something I'd personally be interested in, but not sure it fits with Fun City. Along with a couple of the westerns on the list. |

Both editions of Jeremy are sold out on VS. Just ordered the standard edition on Amazon. I think I'm just going to be a FCE completist moving forward and always order the slipcovers from VS when they are released.

Trapped would be amazing, but I believe Kino said there were licensing issues with it. So many amazing TV films have not made it to Blu-ray, many not even DVD. I'm glad to see some titles getting some love as of late, but there are still so many great titles that can only be found on awful Youtube streams, if at all.
