I agree. While I didn't hate brave like so many others. I thought Wreck It Ralph was Superior in almost every way.

Hmm, I think Wreck It Ralph should have won that, maybe because I'm a huge Rick Moore fan....

Disney are in the Academy's pockets

C'mon Best original screenplay win for QT.
Don't praise the academy so much yet. Now if they do the right thing and Django wins best picture then yes praise them.

I'd rather take some epic CGI than a few nice landscape shots.

That's just me, though

Nope. Every single nominee would've been a well-deserving winner.

Yup I woulda gone for Django but if Skyfall won I woulda been like "well umm that was prob. the best of the year"... I HATE life of PI. a lot. one of the worst of the year but it did have very good cinematography at least.

Life of Pi deserves the visual effects award, which it just won, not the Cinematography award.

same here.. I still haven't been to see life of pi but I do have the 3d version on preorder.

Skyfall was good too, it was a hard thing to drag a family member out to see it when the last bond movie she saw had Sean Connery playing as 007.
