Very likely UV and ITunes as Paramount releases tend to be. I think the trick is redeem directly through ITunes and a UV provider like VUDU, not Paramount's website, in order to get both copies.

I had the same question last night. Looking around in the buy & sell thread lead me to believe it was UV or Google Play only. No iTunes.

There are a few catalog titles being rereleased this week. All the Universal ones should be UV + iTunes, and the Fox titles will be UV only.

All the Universal rereleases will have iTunes copy. For this week it looks like they are:

Riddick
Billy Elliot
Love Actually
2 Guns
Identity Thief
Jarhead 2

Universal is rereleasing them without the DVD copy, everything else should be the same, they probably have the old code sheet inserts in there too. If you're looking for any of them, you might want to check the price of the previous release as it may be cheaper. And for Billy Elliot, you can also check the 100th Anniversary DVD which will have a iTunes copy.

Does anyone know anything about the code from the Die Hard 4-Film Collection DVD set from Wal-Mart? I'm assuming it's for VUDU, but this is the first code I've ever seen that didn't have UV or iTunes somewhere on the slip

Here's a picture of it (the back is blank):



I've searched both this forum and Google and I can't find any info on it, but there was a sticker on the plastic wrap of the DVD that mentioned VUDU/Instawatch, which I am unfamiliar with. So any insight is appreciated

Oh and the whole reason I ask is because my brother bought the DVD set from Wal-Mart recently, and he didn't even know there was a code inside until I was over at his house earlier and I mentioned there might be. So he gave it to me so I could redeem it, but I want to make sure it's UV/VUDU before I do (since he is linked to my UV account, sort of).

If the sticker said Vudu, it will redeem on Vudu. And the Die Hard movies are UV on Vudu. Since the code is from the DVD set, it likely redeems in SD quality.

Does your brother still have the receipt for this set? Since the sticker also said InstaWatch, you can probably get the movies into Vudu just using the receipt. And then you can trade/sell/giveaway the code you found inside the set.

Thanks for the reply, and thanks for the tip, I didn't know that. Unfortunately I doubt he still has the receipt, but I will definitely have him look for it before I redeem the code, just in case
