By the time I got back to the workshop to level up, I had 371k echoes. The cleric beast took a lot longer to kill this time around, but still not too bad.

Someone asked about starting weapons. I used the saw cleaver for the whole game, and the starting pistol. But most people seem to use the axe, mostly two handed.

Axe is good but is too slow two handed. It really only has 1 good attack. For beginners sure.

I've been using Ludwig's Holy Blade +10

It's easy when not transformed for regular enemies & extended for the bosses that are huge & don't move fast.

Got him & the boss after him. Of all the bosses, Rom just freaks me out.

I didn't know you could trade blood ritual material for arcane at the workbench.

I thought that, too, about some of the videos. Bosses not using the full gamut of attacks on som players. I chalked it up to luck. What is good about the two handed charged attack with the axe is that it ignores a lot of environmental obstacles. It is a sort of exploit. I just prefer a faster weapon.

Just got the Beast Claw weapon. Layer 2 of the 4th Dungeon (Ailing Loren Chalice) is brutal!

I don't even remember which Labyrinthe I'm on but I should have used that duplication cheat when I had the chance. I'm sorry but F*** those ***** bell maidens. Always calling those god damn red spiders. There's one optional area on the first layer that involves me having to TRY to run past like 5 spiders and one of those god damn werewolves. Meanwhile the spiders keep coming. I haven't made it far enough to find the ***** and I'm willing to bet it's not a major item I need.

Last thing I did was die on some boss on the 2nd layer. Some smaller electric beast that doesn't stop swinging. With some of the bosses in this game like this one and the Father I swear to god I sometimes mistake this game for a fighting game with those c***suckers doing like infinite combos.

As everyone can see these Labyrinthe are breaking me. The rest of the normal game was damn fun even when it was challenging, this s*** is just cheap.

I just beat him after 2 hours & 12 tries. I swear I was gonna give up, but one more time, one more time.. By far the hardest Boss so far for me. It's not required to beat him to get a trophy in any dungeon btw.

When I see all red beasts.. I run for that Bell Bit+h & take her out as fast as possible. Heck sometimes there are 2 of them just 1 room apart from another.

I beat him a little bit ago. 4th try I think using my spinning attack a bit more. you trade hits but the two hits from your spin nets you some health back and you immediately jump back a few times as soon as you can.

I'm still trying to find a gem that's level 15 or higher for the trophy but no one is dropping them.

I need more materials to get Dungeon 5 unlocked so I went back to the first layer of Ailing Loren Chalice & killed a witch hunter & got the rare blood gem.

Got my attack up from 790 to 832

Well just spent about an hour to an hour and a half with the game for the first time and can't stop getting my ass handed to me. I like a lot of things about the game but really not sure if this is going to be for me. The graphics and world look awesome! It would be nice if the game had and adjustable difficulty level. I think this game is going to be doing a lot of sitting on my shelf just like Destiny unfortunately. Maybe on a day when I feel really determined and have a lot of patience I'll give it a try again. I shoulda known better as all the hype for this game made it abundantly clear that this game is tough as nails.

I played it myself for a little bit last night for the first time. Really cool game so far and the atmosphere is amazing. Only played long enough to kill a few enemies or I knew I'd be playing it all night and not get any sleep. Haven't slept anyways so I should have been playing this instead of watching a movie trying to sleep haha.

How long into the game until I get the first Insight so I can talk to the creepy doll or whatever to start leveling up? I'm glad I read over the manual or I would have been totally lost

i suggest running all the way to the clerical beast and getting killed. this will open up the talking options to the doll which will allow you to farm and upgrade your stats and make you stronger for your second encounter with the beast.

You can run to the beast, but don't just get killed. Kill the beast. It is far and away the easiest boss in the game, killable at your base stats. Lock on him and keep dodging behind him to hit him.

Just curious what level you're playing at. I continued to NG+ to level up, as it started getting difficult in lower Pthumeru dungeon where you have the three watchers as a boss, and there was one bell ringer spawning spiders.

How many blood echoes do you need for the next level? I thought the dungeons would have been a good farming area.

Also don't the Dungeons get harder in NG+ ?

Anyways it's nice to get around 2,000 BE for regular enemies in NG+ instead of 42 BE
