Your information has no credible source, which means it really shouldn't have been posted here at all. Performing a Google search returns results that say it's coming to Netflix on 10/30, and that's for disc rental, not streaming. Makes sense to me, since the BD is released for sale on 10/02, and they usually impose a 28-day delay for disc rentals... This isn't rocket science.

There's little to no chance that they're releasing a blockbuster like this to an all-you-can-eat streaming service right after (let alone right before ) it's released on VOD, PPV, and disc.

Sorry, but you jumped the gun on this. Maybe consider applying some critical thinking next time, before you decide to post?

I don't expect to see any MCU films on Netflix till Captain America: Civil War hits its first Pay TV window.

Here's a post I did on another thread, with information sourced from Disney's recent annual SEC filing, but here's the key language disclosed.

Quote:
The Company has licensed exclusive domestic pay television rights to substantially all films released theatrically through calendar year 2015 under the Walt Disney Pictures, Pixar and Touchstone Pictures banners, along with films released under the Marvel banner starting with Iron Man 3 to the Starz pay television service.

Following the conclusion of Starz’s exclusive domestic Pay 1, Pay 2 and Pay 3 television rights for films released theatrically through the end of calendar year 2015, Netflix will have exclusive domestic pay television rights for the Pay 1 and Pay 2 windows for films released theatrically through calendar year 2018.
Also, the list is definitely incorrect, as Pitch Perfect 2 is Universal, and Universal's pay TV rights belong to HBO.

True. Disney enforces a 28 day delay on its titles since 2012 before it will allow distributors to sell directly to the video rental services. However, Redbox and Netflix have in the past refused to go along with the delay. Hence for Disney titles, Redbox and Netflix have to buy the title at retail (street) price, which is probably why some Redbox machines aren't as well stocked on Disney titles (and why some Disney titles aren't carried in BD format).

Given that Netflix has been cutting expenses in its disc by mail business, I wouldn't be surprised if Netflix is now adhering to the delay to get cheaper disc copies at a wholesale price (rather than retail).

I like having female characters. But a character shouldn't be made female just to be PC. If the artist is inspired to make a female character, they should.

Well, at least Target posted theirs last week like they were supposed to.
I'm curious why Wal*Mart didn't post theirs. I'll have to ask.

It'll either be character slipcovers or another giftset like they did with the first Avengers/almost every major Disney release. Would be surprised if it ends up being anything else.

AOU is probably not going to land on these streaming services for "free" right away. However, I have Amazon prime and Barely Lethal and the new The Town That Dreaded Sundown are available on the prime service. Barely Lethal was available to stream on prime before the Blu-ray release. So it's not so outrageous a claim. I know those two films aren't big tent pole blockbusters but still...

As stated before, AOU's pay TV rights belong to Starz due to it being released this year (Netflix gets Disney releases theatrically released in 2016 on, along with Disney catalog titles not under Starz's current deal with Disney). And Starz doesn't sublicense their rights anymore since pulling their catalog from Netflix in 2012.

Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America 1, and The Avengers were on Netflix due to sub licensing from Epix (which has the rights to Paramount films). As part of the deal to release the distribution rights of The Avengers and Iron Man 3 to Disney, Paramount got to keep the pay TV rights to the former.

Starz's last MCU title it will have the long term Pay TV rights to will be Ant-Man. Netflix will have most (if not all) of the Pay TV rights to Phase Three (beginning with Civil War).

Barely Lethal is not comparable, as it was a small studio/independent film whose limited theatrical release also had a concurrent VOD/digital HD release on the same day, so the rights tend to work differently than films from the major studios.

"But still..." nothing.

Of course it was an outrageous claim. It was completely ridiculous to even suggest that that was going to happen with this film, and anyone who put any amount of thought into what they were reading would never have posted it in the first place. We weren't discussing a film that made $6,000 at the box office, nor were we discussing a low-budget remake that essentially went direct-to-video.

As you're well aware, we're discussing the second Avengers film, a blockbuster which has raked in ~$1.4 Billion worldwide. There is zero chance - not even a tiny, itty-bitty piece of a chance - that this film will end up on Netflix's Instant Streaming service anywhere close to the time it's released on BD (and certainly not before.)

Looks like around 11 minutes of deleted scenes. Not exactly the treasure trove we were looking for.

At least there's the Norn Cave, that's the one I was most interested in seeing. Brief glimpse of that in one of the trailers that didn't make it into the movie. No surprise they're probably holding stuff back for the Phase 2 box.

It at least runs longer than the deleted scenes reel for Guardians of the Galaxy, which makes me expect either more substance or more padding.

Those come to 43 minutes (not counting the audio commentary and not counting the deleted scenes the second time with the commentary)
There is another feature "Global adventure" that the BBFC rated separately, that runs 2:51 bring the total bonus material to 45 minutes---which is what the press release stated.

So there it is.....11 minutes of 4 deleted scenes and 34 minutes of features. I find it very hard to believe that they aren't saving more deleted for the box set as another poster mentioned.

Loki? Quicksilver cameo at end? They explicitly state the movie was nearly an hour longer and give us 11 minutes of deleted scenes?
Oh well, I loved the movie and wanted the Norn cave scene the most........

If said extra deleted material isn't in the Phase 2 box set, then maybe it'll show up if they do a Phases 1-3 box set after INFINITY WAR.

But, this is Disney so who are we kidding...

Come on dude, how many more stupidly expensive mega box sets with fancy packaging & a shite bonus disc will people hold out for before they realise that Disney don't give two hoots about extras? Still, that selection for Ultron is an embarrassment of riches compared to Winter Soldier.

Can't wait to see the inevitable MCU Infinity Set of Phases 1-3 with 2D and 3D discs of all the movies, an extra bonus disc, all in a huge case in the shape of the Infinity Gauntlet. I won't buy it, but it'll sure be purdy.
