I preordered this the minute it was available not really expecting much lower than the price it was then. But seeing it drop down makes me so glad that I preordered.

Best Buy had two versions of the limited collection listed; one says Movie Money in the description, and their Steelbook Limited Collectors Edition comes with a movie money ticket worth up to $15 towards Fallen Kingdom.

see now THAT'S an attractive price. $50 for four movies. So if you only really care about two of them you don't feel bad paying for a nice box.

None of this "wow $20 per movie for four movies in a box set is such a good deal!" nonsense.

Though in the back of my mind I remember the E.T. standalone being $14.99 and still kind of want to wait for just the first one.

Saw the first two in the theater as a kid and barely remember anything about the third film. Used to watch the first one all the time on vhs though. The JP & JW 3D blus are already pretty nice though the uptick in detail plus atmos or dts x could be a fun, new experience.

T2, Mann's revisionist Heat remaster, Ridley Scott changing the look of Alien EVERY time it goes up for a new transfer etc. The "director approved" tag means "what the director wants it to look like now" almost as much as the typical inference of "what the director wanted it to look like originally".
