I stopped receiving notifications in the app. Bug or feature?

I took a quick look and the notification service should be up and running. The logs tell that messages have been sent to you, last one just a few minutes ago.

My phone recently updated from nougat to Oreo. Perhaps, something needs to be reset on my end.

I checked the app permissions. Notifications are turned on, but I'm still not getting them. Additionally, I did notice that some PMs didn't show up in "Forum Events."

I'm running Android 8.1 on a Moto 5G Plus.

Noticed in Version 1.4.8 Build 4543 of the iOS app, there is now an iTunes Music section of My Collection. Is there a way to populate this from other programs/apps or even add items to the list?

Could be added at 4K Ultra HD category to sort by the type of HDR - HDR10, Dolby Vision etc.? Thanks!

I haven't received any notifications from the app for days. something is up. also, a pm from a fellow member doesn't show up in forum events and i obviously didn't get a notification for it.

If you are online and active on the site, push notifications are not sent. The forum events show only the notified events.

Yes, this is intended. If you are active on the site and receive a PM, no notification is sent to your device. Once you are inactive for a certain time a push notification will be sent.

I've been testing some more regarding this and it seems Android 8+ is the issue here.

The code that handles the incoming messages is not working in Android 8+. I'll fix this, but it requires some overhaul of our Android push notification code also.

At the moment the easiest way to add is from the iTunes Music section on the site.

A handful of movies I added a few months ago do not show their cover. I've tried removing and re-adding with no luck. Scanned and manually enter plenty of more today and the covers show up. Anyone have experience with this?

Been trying to reftesh my blu-ray collection on the app and i'm getting an error, only on the Blu-ray section, i was able to refresh the DVDs and digitals. Anyone know how to fix this?

Yes, there seems to be some problem in the Android app. I'll take a look.

There has been an issue earlier when the site went to https, so the cached images were not working, but an update/sync of your collection should fix this.
