Just got in contact with RSM. All of us that can’t order directly from RSM can breathe a sight of relief because the one i spoke too said it will be available on Amazon around its release date

Or maybe it'll be their final release. Who can say.
I think the issue is Disney has zero history of working with any distributor regardless of size, and that only seems to be more certain as they become a bigger and bigger monopoly. I’m also very cynical about them ever working with a company like Random Space.

This is probably true, but it's pretty surprising Sony would do so and they'd be the only ones worldwide to have Spider-Man: No Way Home 3D.

So while Marvel likely remains beyond them, it'd be great to see them grow as a 3D distributor going forward.

RSM don’t exist in a 3D vacuum, they were around long before their first 3D exclusive making special bumper packs of movies/collections etc. The release of which you could also argue would come down to a ‘rounding error’ for a company like Sony but corporations tend to look at the whole picture, or maybe someone at RSM really has some pull in the industry, either way if there’s any labour of love it would be on RSM’s side, but not on Sony’s. Where’s their 3D love for cancelling the Japanese Venom 2 3D release and then refusing to let RSM release it?
You are clearly one of those people who looks a gift horse in the mouth…

You agree that the money Sony makes on this is a rounding error yet you fail to posit a logical reason for Sony to waste time & money authoring the movie for a 3D Bluray release….

Last week I called SONY Corporate Media to complain about no 3D. Vented on some forums and today I here the 3D community is surprised with this upcoming release! Instantly ordered a couple hours ago here in FL.
3D lives! Tv companies should make 4k-3D!

Woke up to an email from Connor at RSM saying they had worked out shipping to the UK. Sure enough, when I checked my account out, there was shipping to the UK. Ordered straight away. Is UK available for everyone now? Or am I just that special?

Did the same with Sony. And I would buy 2 TVs in a moment if they sold new 3d 4ks. Haven’t purchased a new tv since they stopped 3D.

Interestingly when I created an account it remembered my details from when I ordered Jumanji The Next Level despite this not being in my order history and it technically being a new account. I am overjoyed that I can now support them directly by ordering this and future releases.

I got the same sort of message from Shawn at RSM this morning too. He mentioned it was something to do with them making sure they were doing things correctly with HMRC. Interestingly (sort of) Doolittle still won't ship to the UK though: I asked him if that's possible to change also.
But hey, you're still special: A dedicated 3D fan!

Sony is willing to work with smaller publishers/distributors. As Good As It Gets was a big, Oscar winning hit but Sony never released a US blu-ray. 3,000 copies were released by Twilight Time. If they don't feel there's a big market for something they don't always pull a Disney and just throw it away so that no one gets it; if a third party shows interest they'll talk.

At least Dolittle 3D is on Amazon UK and I’m pretty sure it’s just RSM with a seller alias selling it. I guess you can’t combine shipping with this movie but I also think if you do choose that option then they only ship when the preorder is released, so maybe buying Dolittle from Amazon and NWH direct from RSM is the best bet anyway.

Yeah, maybe we need to get Farai to contact dvdoutlet regarding registering with HMRC - last time I emailed them the response I got was angry and contemptuous so it definitely needs someone with the magic touch...

Thanks! I have also just pre-ordered. Strange it wouldn’t let me order Dolittle as well but not massively fussed as can get it elsewhere (and still not sure I really want it …)

Ha, maybe. I too am frustrated at not being able to order Chickenhare. I only started to post on here because my wife asked me to. I have autism and struggle to communicate sometimes. When No way home was announced I went on to order, still no UK shipping. Tried Sanity, they've only just put up the preorder for Boss Baby 2. So I used my current state of mind and let rip on RSM. Politely of course. I'd like to think I participated in their decision to sort the shipping out but I'll take any new 3d win as a team effort. I've been collecting since Piranha 3d was released and I'll probably never escape from this rabbit hole
