enjoy..... there are several movies out there that will test the limits of the sub...


took the family out last night to see IRONMAN2,,, towards the end,, the wifey leans over and states "YOU ARE NOT BUYING THIS BLURAY" i guess all the explosions and gun fire was a bit much for her..lol..lol..lol.. i will be buying it ofcourse

Yes, I have a stand alone home. And my system is off the back of the house in our family room - so I can crank it up pretty loud even when the kids are sleeping.

Having a separate room off the house makes it very nice to watch movies late at night.

Though now with my new PA-120 - I wonder if the neighbors ever hear the loud booms! Like with U-571. That almost gave me a heart attack!

Default "Saving Private Ryan" - getting ready to watch shortly...
Hey all - my Dualies' will once again be getting a real test of their capabilities (along with the POLKS'), with "SAVING PRIVATE RYAN" in a little bit. I'll be back later with a Review. To say I'm a bit excited to see (& Hear) this movie on Bluray is a serious Understatement.

always a pleasure to read.... and i dont care what anyone says... a pair of pa120's might not be as loud as those much more expensive subs but they can hold their own.... always better to have 2.. for that smoother sound and larger than life headroom..

Thanks buddy. Yes, we do Enjoy the Performance of our Dual PA-120 Subs! I love how much of the Off-In-The-Distance "BOOMS" you heard of bombs dropping could be not only heard but felt as well.

probably tomorrow after I come from court,,, I will give SPR another go.....

just bought 2 more movies... BATMAN GOTHAM KNIGHT and a movie that came out when I was younger but I just never saw the entire thing.. DUNE (according to the reviews its probably as loud as HELLBOY2) cant wait

I've never seen DUNE from start to end; just parts here and there. I might RENT this first to see if I like it, esp. as it's $18.99 now (). But it sounds like a Subwoofer Lovers' idea of Audio Heaven: "Get ready for a rumbling good time with Dune's very impressive DTS-HD MA 5.1 track, which kicks into LFE heaven from the first moments and rarely lets up for more than two hours. This is one of the most bass heavy tracks in recent memory, full of thundering low frequencies that will leave your floorboards vibrating in ecstasy."

damn this thing is louder than hellboy2... jeez... im currently playing it at -60db from my -16db reference.... and just had to turn it down to -70db on this one part cause it was too loud.. hmm cant wait to play this one again tomorrow...

cool - it prob. Looks a whole lot better too on Bluray. I hear a NETFLIX run for this one.
