Neither Scarlett nor J-Law are remotely "doughy."

I'll give you this, though: It's extremely difficult to imagine J-Law's character having been a ballerina at any point in her past unless it was a LONG time ago. That's not what ballerina's look like.

For instance, Gillian Murphy, Prima at the American Ballet Theater:



But it's not a big deal to me since the majority of the film isn't about her mini-career in ballet. It's not like Black Swan where both Portman and Kunis had to lose a lot of weight (well, a lot for them considering neither is very big to begin with) since the entire film took place in that world.

One element I hope the film includes is allowing Walton Goggins to chew the scenery a bit as the villain Mathias Vogel. Goggins does scenery chewing well.
