You don't get it, it's an extra bonus game. Look at the picture and guess the film. If you really don't know, grab a magnifying glass and read the solution on the edge of the disc.

Just finished TMWKTM! Great film. Definitely, a bit more restoration would have been fit to reduce / remove the colour fluctuations that recur throughout the film, but other than that I think it looked rather nice. I'd say it's a solid transfer, but not great.

got my aussie set last night (for $80!!)and flicked through all the discs. From what I saw, the problems, and they are definitely there, have been greatly exaggerated.

Oooh, ok. I thought it was glued at the top as well and it wasn't strong enough. Thanks

Now finished MARNIE. I forgot how much I love this film. The transfer does have issues, mostly source-related such as slight flickering and the 'pattern' artefact reported early, but I feel the low marks given here and elsewhere are a bit exaggerated. There is some nice definition, solidity and detail present, beating the previous DVDs, and the 'pattern' problem was there on the DVDs as well. In my view, MARNIE is very watchable, not the strongest presentation in the set surely, but hardly the disaster it has been made out to be. I can now ditch my old DVD copy. TORN CURTAIN next, one that I haven't seen before.

Will watch Saboteur tonight for the first time ever in life.
Saboteur is a good movie and has been given a terrific transfer with good solids blacks, sparkling whites, and decent greys. As good as Psycho.

A pity they didn't do the same for Hitchcock's own personal favourite Shadow Of A Doubt. What we are given is a disgrace! It looks like a dirty, faded black and white print, full of sparkle of the wrong kind. Clearly nobody bothered with this terrific movie. My old copy on dvd from the last tv showing is better than this. Universal should be ashamed!

I'd love to get the set but I think it will be a few months and just the normal special edition, not the lovely looking LE you have. I'll try and get the Warner Bros. three-film set as well.

Done with TORN CURTAIN. First time I saw it - I found it very very good indeed. A great and clever thriller, but maybe not the best film I've seen. It was a quite a decent transfer. Like MARNIE, a lot of softness from the source made some shots less detailed than others, but overall a nice-looking offering. Next up is TROUBLE WITH HARRY, which is another first-timer for me.

Agree, absolutely brilliant film. True Hitchcock suspense. Keep you guessing til the very end.

Absolutely gorgeous picture on that one. The autumn trees pop on screen and detail is amazing. As you said, it's not the best film in hitch's career. I enjoyed it as it was the first time I saw it. Will probably watch again but not before vertigo, birds, man who knew and north by northwest.

The trees and scenery really popped out I agree, shame about some of the 'acting' though.
Im really enjoying the set and glad I ignored all the so called 'videophile' opinions, I wonder sometimes if people just look out for fault rather than watch the actual film.

Vertigo next I think

You cant be serious? It looks way better than any previously released dvd and is a pretty good transfer even if you dont compare.

LOL

It's one of the best looking movies in the set. Even all the reviews confirm that.

I just got this via Amazon UK went to the page and noticed this

Item Under Review

This product is not currently offered by Amazon.co.uk because a customer recently told us that the item he or she received was not as described.

Can someone shed some light on this as I don't want to open this only to return it

I wouldn't worry about it. For better or worse, Amazon UK often do this sort of thing when a customer makes even the most trivial complaint.
