The trailers are pretty vague. They don't give away that much. Probably because there isn't much to reveal if it's a faithful adaptation of the dull first half of the book.

NO ONE is going to be doing that with Mockingjay -- Part 1 unless they've been living under a rock for the past few years. Whether this movie has a 10% RT score or a 90% RT score or wherever in between, the same exact people are going to flock to see it.

That is only half true. You want a Trilogy to have a really good finale and a good reputation to end it off. I'm sure the hardcore HG fans or fans of the movie wouldn't want for this movie to obtain such a score of 10% then the movie most really suck and would fall into Twilight level-bad after 2 really strong movies, specially Catching Fire. So if you think about it the scores do "matter" and make up for it.

P.S Now at 73%

Yeah but The Matrix Reloaded wasn't all that great to begin with. I personally wouldn't compare it with THG Trilogy

They were similar structurally. Catching Fire even ends with a shot of someone's face like Reloaded.

But yes, THG > The Matrix Trilogy.

Even though RT scores don't matter that much, I'd be fine if it matched DHPT1.

I still think it'll do more like $130m, but another $150+m haul would be incredible.

The Cinemark theater near me has 30 showings on Friday alone, and that's including the XD presentations.

Hah! Wait until part 2 comes out, there'll be a screening starting every minute of every day.

I heard that it'll be the only movie allowed to play in theaters for two weeks.

(By the way, Michael Bay Fan's Suspension has ended. He hasn't logged in yet, though.)
