Glad i did not import. After the euro dropped so much this would have been a very expensiv release.

Nah. Would have gotten the dvd if there would be no bd release. Euro dropped from 1.39$ to 1.16$... makes these korean releases way to expensive anyway. dont feel like spending 30-48€ for a single BD movie anymore.

Happend to me already way to many times that i ordered one of these 33-35$ + expensiv shipping + tax blurays only to receive some kind of SD-HD DVD upscale with engrish subs that even bother me ...

no eng subs and the encode is 1080i @ 50hz.. looks decent but not that much of a upgrade to a good DVD.

seems only 11 people put Greatful Dead into their collection so far @ bluray.com

New 2K transfers nothing to do with Gareth Evans, Gareth just helping in other ways bringing the films out there.

Terrific news! Hana-Bi is one of my favourite films from the 90s and probably my favourite Kitano film.

with some movies we will most likely never see blurays.. so everything i get from thirdwindow (DVD or bluray) is worth owning to make some really unlikely release possible. who would have ever thought that all these Tsukamotos get a bluray release at all..

watched the old UK DVD of "Snake of june".. awesome movie.. absolutly awesome.. cant wait to upgrade and revisit it...
