Those Fandom Post links have to be modified, they're not exactly dead. Fandom Post switched versions of vBulletin, and unfortunately in the process links broke. The posts are there, you just have to search and get the new links. Also, that list would be quite huge because even in like 2010 many shows weren't being animated in 720P, many shows like Durarara!! were even still being released DVD-only in Japan, and even now most still aren't animated in 1080P. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood was animated in 540P for instance.

2003 DVD box, or the re-release version. Its hard to tell without the outer cardboard box (only difference was the colour of the sticker)

Quality wise those DVDs look like this

yes. The big book thing sits inside the red plastic outer box, which itself comes inside bubble wrap cardboard box with a Eva sticker on the outside.

True, but that didn't originate with the Blu-rays but instead with the 2003 "Renewal" DVDs (which were also the basis for the US "Platinum" DVDs). The BDs are just the same content-wise, but in HD.

Also, why is this guy freaking out about the changes from the initial 1996-98 VHS/LD masters to the 2003 Renewal set when there's quite a bit of change between the original 1995-96 broadcasts and their first home video release? I mean seriously, even the title cards were re-formatted!

I know all about that release but I see the other picture more and wasn't thinking the YJ would be the inside of that.

Since they are treated by Anno as the canonical versions of those episodes, I'd assume as such.

Found a video of some annoying guy talking about the Netflix release and it he got a lot wrong. How many idiots are spreading mis information? And the way he pronounces Asuka is disturbing.

The Mass Production Evas are good guys? Plus 60 feet tall? Yeah not a chance. Plus Robin’s look at the end is priceless especially for being a fan of the series.

Plus this is why Directors need to research more when adding stuff like this in

Mark Romanek: “I picked this particular toy because I liked that it was… seemed like this sort of white, avenging angel… good angel… and later in the film you see it’s wings are spread out and he’s got this big sword which is very similar to the hunting knife that Sy gets later. I’m more surprised it wasn’t like Eva-01. Just feel like the Mass Produced Eva just feels more random. Plus a lot of comments on the video are funny like That kid must not be a fan of Asuka or that the kid works for Seele.
