I'm curious if squashed footage used in the menu and interviews are fixed.

Surprisingly this is available for in store pick up today at Best Buy. Hopefully they received the second printing because I'll gladly price match Amazon and pick this bad boy up today.

Oh give me a break. Scorsese is one of the greatest directors of all time, but he's ripped off/borrowed/homaged several other films, and he'd say as much. Heck Hitch ripped heavily ripped off Fritz Lang and german cinema in general much of his career! BTW I like Scorsese, I like Hitch, and I like De Palma.

picked mine up this morning at best buy and they matched amazon. was the second printing..

be careful with online Best Buy stock. it says all stores in the MN twin cities area has stock for today but I drove to a Best Buy and they can't pull up any stores that actually have the stock. TYPICAL though.

Man that's stupid. Just got an order confirmation on mine. If it's the first printing I'm going to be PO'D. I thought the whole holding off on the release date was supposed to prevent this!

Yes, me too. Amazon even cancelled my preorder, which I didn't realize until late last week, so I only placed this new order on Friday.

I received a first printing today and just emailed Amazon informing them of their error.

No luck at three local stores, all sold out. I'll try my luck with Amazon and hopefully won't get the first printing.

Glad the "recall" is in place, but my understanding was the reason this was pushed back a few weeks was to make sure none of the first printing would hit the streets, especially from place like Amazon. I mean I understand some mom and pop outfit breaking street date last month to sell this and someone got stuck with a lemon, but the fact that Criterion pushed the street date back so only the 2nd printing would get sold and now Amazon is sending out the first printing on release day..well it just blows my mind.

I received my copy from Amazon today and it is indeed the Second Printing. It's a little odd to see that some people received the First Printing even though all the orders on Amazon were cancelled...
