I wouldn't mind the title, "Halloween: Reunion" with Curtis, Carpenter and Castle returning and considering the fact that in the context of the film, this will be the first time Laurie and Michael will be reunited after 40 years.

Also,

[Show spoiler]I think I read somewhere that Laurie is somewhat estranged from her daughter Karen, so this could be a family reunion in a fight against Michael.

Either way, I can't wait for this movie. October 19th can't get here fast enough!

I suggested that title a while back. I still like it. Totally down for Halloween Reunion.

As for Laurie and Karen's relationship, there is Nothing that even hints at that. That's just fan speculation.

I still find it strange that they would be be secretive of the title if it was just Halloween. I doubt that's it.

I feel like if there was going to be a teaser played in front of Truth Or Dare (which I think looks really stupid by the way), then the teaser would be out by now

You just know we'll get a sixtieth anniversary film in 2038, with a 79-year-old Jamie Lee Curtis being pursued through a nursing home. And you know that film will also discard all of the previous sequel continuity and claim that it's the "for reals" direct sequel to the original.

There isn't. Ryan Turek confirmed that there is no teaser/trailer planned for April 15th (which was the rumor) so I doubt there's anything before that either.

My guess is the teaser will be released the last week of April or first week of May.

Jason Blum Has Seen First Cut of Film, and He Loooved It!!

Producer Jason Blum revealed that he just got to see an early cut of the movie; in short, he’s super excited:

I feel really good about it, I saw a cut of it two nights ago. I think David did a terrific job. He did everything I hoped he would do which is respect the DNA of the franchise and bring something totally new to it and we’re really very very excited for people to see it.
