Surprising they haven't released it so far. I'm thinking perhaps the original tape is lost. Or something perhaps keeps Sony from releasing it.

Or, honestly, it's just not very up to standards to release. Quality is very bad.

Fingers crossed the extras are ported over to the digital release, as I'd probably only view them once out of curiosity. Other than that, I'm perfectly happy sticking with my trilogy box set.

Also, as someone else mentioned, fingers crossed for a Ghostbusters re-release in retro packaging (hopefully with DV and corrected audio as well).

True but this going for a more nostalgic look. That's pretty much exactly what VHS boxes like that looked like at the video store. It's definitely working on me, I don't have the movies on UHD Blu-Ray (just digital copies) so I'm definitely tempted to get this.

There's a good chance they will. Certainly has happened before. It's what I'm banking on.
