My order for F13th arrived quite quickly. It was a no fuss transaction and going to watch it tonight.

Hope something else pops up that I want to buy from this label.

Has anyone seen the 3d of Noah (2014)? I've heard it was a good conversion, but 3d was only available in some countries outside of the US. Not sure which physical release is dependable. Not a must have from turbine since it already exists, but would be good for a broader release worldwide if it's good quality.

Since most of the movies that i want come from Universal, Paramount and Warner, and are available on the Apple Vision Pro, mind sharing which movies you are talking about?

Yes, funny, I saw this just two days ago. The 3D experience was quite good, but nothing to special.

I thought it was a fine looking 3D film. Film itself was more enjoyable than I imagined.

I enjoyed it more than expected as well. There used to be a 4k (non hdr) version for rent a while back, but I never watched it, hoping for a 4k hdr disc of this and the fountain. But good to hear about the 3d. I'll import the disc sometime soon.

Yeah. It was weirdly released in front of The House With A Clock In Its Walls in IMAX, however Clock was NOT a 3D movie. So it just aired before the movie in Imax 3D. It was such an amazing conversion. I went to it 3 times. I think at the time I had moviepass and so the 1st time I went I stayed for the movie and the other 2 times I left after Thriller (even though I very much enjoy the movie, watch it every Halloween).

And yeah, it is only 9 or 10 minutes, but that is my point, id pay the full $50 including shipping and everything that it would cost to own this on proper Blu 3D

Sony are sitting on a bunch and there are plenty of vintage titles actually made in 3D as well as a variety of more recent Chinese conversions that never made it to disc. Ip Man 3 for example.

That list contains a huge number of movies. If you could only get 5, which are the ones you prefer? They don't have to be on that specific list, just 5 3D titles you would love to own.

You're right and I apologize. I'll reread it twice next time!

I love the Silver Age most of all so any 5 of those would do me fine. Spacehunter, Starchaser, Rottweiler, any of the sleazy titles especially. The 3-DFA have the rights to Starlet for example, they'd knock it out for Turbine I am sure.

And someone needs to make Charles Band an offer he can't refuse for The Creeps but it looks like that will have to be Wicked Vision as they seem to have all the Full Moon releases in Germany.

The Incredibles
WALL-E
Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (has the best 3D of the franchise)

I doubt the Pixar ones would look all that impressive in 3D, but I would still love to see them released regardless.

GxK New Empire is my most wanted 3D movie, I have all the other Monsterverse movies in 3D.

I picked up Super Mario and Friday the 13th from DiabolikDVD, really nice they are carrying the movies as well in the USA.

I was pleasantly surprised by Godzilla’s (2014) 3D quality.

After not expecting much, as the web said the production method had changed from direct 3D to post-production, I put in Kung Fu Panda 4 today as the last of the three-pack. I have to say, my expectations were completely exceeded. The 3D offers great added value and fits perfectly into this wonderfully colorful and lovingly made film. Wonderful picture and sound quality (!). I can hardly wait to watch the entire film tomorrow evening. Thank you so much, Turbine! And after watching Ballerina fighting on stream today, which unfortunately wasn't produced in 3D, I remember which film I'm dreaming of to see on 3D Blu-ray.

I'm with you on this. I had seen a couple of comments that KFP 4 wasn't nearly as good as the earlier films, but when I watched it, I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was in the same ballpark as the others. I would not have singled out #4 as a lesser film at all.

How would you say its 3-D compares to the other three?

Hmmm. There was a fair amount of time in between, so I don't have the clarity of back to back viewing. I would say the 3D was similar.

There are some sequences that are stronger than others but overall I don't think anyone can argue that it doesn't have the weakest 3D of the series. However, it's not so weak that you don't notice it and definitely enhances the viewing experience.

Just watched "Jurassic World - Rebirth" in cinema in 3D. It did not match the original "Jurassic Park" series in my opinion, but nevertheless was pretty good and an entertaining adventure movie. And by far better than the previous "Dominion" installement.
The dinosaur scenes were thrilling and done pretty well. The protagonists as usual mainly served as fodder for the reptiles. The only one thing I really disliked were
[Show spoiler]the alien-like dinosaur mutants
. I'd rather have liked the introduction of new species that actually have existed - there should be still plenty of them.
Now for the 3D it was done very good to my perception: not perfect, some background parts (foliage) would sometimes look a little bit flat. But there were also a lot of strong scenes that seemed to have been shot explicitly with 3D in mind - having good depth and layering. So the 3D experience was really good and clearly worth the money.
My hope is that this installement from Universal will then also get the 3D-treatment from Turbine in the forseeable future.
