And frankly of more interest to me they've confirmed Terrahawks Vol.3 for 27/03/17.

After a period in which there have been little or no titles added to Network's website, I'm glad to see these film and TV titles trickling through recently.

Yeah, shame they've seemingly abandoned Nic Roeg's Insignificance though...and still no date for Cy Enfield's Hell Drivers.

Mentioned in a BFI press release a few months ago I think, or maybe Park Circus. Can't remember which exactly, but it has been restored and is coming to Blu-ray soon.

Insignificance is such a great film, I've got to think there are a half dozen other labels who would kill to be able to release it here. Would love to know what the issue is as they've released far more minor films on blu.

Stoked to know Terrahawks will be complete in March - it's a show that got really good for the last third when it embraced its camp appeal and started playing more knowingly to teens and parents.

Does the Animal Farm Blu-Ray come in a standard UK Amaray case. Or a in a US style thin one.

All the British Film releases are thin US style cases (except for The Man Who Haunted Himself and Perfect Friday which are in thin DVD sized cases)

Thin, being the 11mm case (same as the Sony titles in the US), as opposed to the 12.5mm Viva Elite for most of the titles in the US.

Does anyone know of when Network has a sale scheduled next? Do they usually have a January one?

That's a bit annoying. But thanks anyway, I would have no clue.

Seems I was right about them restoring the ITC catalogue -although I did expect and would have preferred The Champions next

Likely to be at the bottom of the Network Bluray pile after lots of others.
The Protectors was one of only 3 ITC shows made on 16mm

You could argue they are more in need of restoration!

16mm needn't be a problem - look how good Spearhead from Space looked on Blu. The problem is whether dupes or used copies were used for sourcing prints. And rewatching some episodes of The Protectors on DVD, it's pretty clear that Network were working from old dupes dating back to the low-res days of TV broadcast. If they had access to the original negs and they weren't too badly damaged they could look pretty good.

And it's got to at least be ahead of The Adventurer on the Network pile - though the prospect of the infamous Gene Bradley trousers in hi-def may just be too terrifying for them to contemplate:

As the 3 shows on 16mm are arguably the least popular of the ITC action shows, would cost more to restore and would have fewer sales then it seems likely that they won't be appearing before the majority of the more popular shows.
Personally, I'd love to see Jason King brought up to the same standard as The Professionals
