For anyone who's pre-ordered the Columbia Classics Volume 1 4k set, there has been some recent news regarding a recall occurring in the states -primarily through retailer Bullmoose, who's outright cancelled pre-orders due to the defect
I see most of this info starts here https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...327064&page=64 Quote:

No mention of a faulty 4K disc in the movie's thread except that there's a bonus feature missing on the bonus disc. Actually, there have been reviews out and it apparently looks spectacular. I'm still getting it.

That is so far, as I have read, the only issuse Sony though has thought of pushing back the whole release to fix this issue instead of doing a disc replacement program. So in the end, this might all get pulled anyways. |

Bullmoose don’t seem to actually understand the problem and are overreacting to a few missing extras that there will be a disc replacement for. Personally it isn’t something I will care about and won’t even bother with the replacement. Was showing release date delivery but they shipped it yesterday with Canada Post which of course is met with a delay e-mail in the blink of an eye so probably won’t show up until later in the week.

That's what happens when you post while tired I guess. Last edited by gwfb5; 06-13-2020 at 04:20 PM. |

Oh crap, you're right.
![]() Sorry, I was only looking at the main pages. (which don't mention anything about shipping or being from a third-party) Last edited by gwfb5; 06-13-2020 at 04:22 PM. |

I find it strange since most of my previous orders were shipped with Intelcom or Purolator. It seems like they are reverting back to Canada Post when they are at their most backlogged. I wonder if they are doing this simply to make Canada Post look bad and push forward Intelcom (or maybe even their own carrier eventually) further more when things will get back to normal? Not sure where to ask this question, but I stumbled across Roger Rabbit Blu-ray for $7.99, but also saw the "French" or is it bilingual version for $6.99. The $7.99 is now "no longer available", so I was wondering what the difference was, whether it was just the artwork on the case or is there something different with the disc itself?

More about points, you could contact Disney Movie Insiders and see if your title is eligible. Had a similar case with my Chronicles of Narnia: LW&W copy that was a bilingual cover - no Disney Movie Rewards logo on the front despite other versions through Amazon (specifically, the blu-ray standalone), and no reward slip either. They were willing to give points for it, no fuss. It's worth the try if you're collecting points for titles.
