Halloween '78 > Halloween III Season Of The Witch > Rob Zombie's Halloween II > Rob Zombie's Halloween

The rest can die in a fire.

Aww Halloween 4 is such a good dumb fun 80's slasher though. Even my wife liked it and she hates everything 80s.

That's pretty much how I look at it. I only have the Canadian theatrical cut double feature BD since imo those cuts are superior, and i don't even keep it with the others.

And Halloween 4 is part of the creme of the crop.

It would’ve been cool if H4 was the last Halloween film. What a way to go out. Then maybe pick it up again a few decades later with Danielle Harris reprising her role as Jamie Lloyd.

Last year I watched the theatrical cuts of RZ’s Halloweens for the first time since seeing them in theaters and I thought the first one was pretty boring and annoying, but the second one I actually kind of liked. I remember watching the unrated versions several years ago and not liking them. I’m curious to check out the unrated H2 again.

Halloween 4 is poo. Would have been better if they ended with Halloween 2.

About neck and neck for me. I honestly don't think Halloween saw a bad day until Revenge. Most would say HIII, but they'd be wrong though.

Halloween ended for me with Part 2. A good 1-2 Kick in the Ass.....with H1 & H2. The rest is just entertainment. Some good and some bad. H4 is my fav.....after H1 & H2.

Revenge makes me squirm with cringe in places, Curse while flawed was easier to admire and of course H20 I think is still a legit capper... yes Resurrection was complete fumble. I still think though with some editing(basically all of the Laurie prologue), Resurrection could be a dumb yet harmless and fun lil short Halloween special, a modernized William Castle gimmick with no real tie to any timeline. Just Boogeyman pops up in his childhood home and kills a bunch of trespassing kids doing an internet show. I'd take that, just get rid of the Laurie stuff.

I at least find Resurrection entertaining. For that alone it's above H4 and H20.

Honestly, I agree with you on it being more entertaining than H20. But better than 4? Get out of here LOL.

The color timing of the 2007 blu ray (similar to the THX DVD, where the leaves on certain trees change color from shot to shot) is not even consistent. And in certain shots makes people look like they are plastered with make up. Almost as if they are in a spaghetti western.

Halloween 4 is weak as child's piss. In practically every department. Don't take umbrage at that if you like H4 though. Some people like mild entertainment. And that's perfectly valid.

Cool.....for whomever does not like H4.

Seen it, and loved it on Opening Night (October, 1988)...and I still enjoy it to this day. (35 years later)
