It looks like you have a lot of experience playing the Dead Space games.
This is my first time playing them and I am loving every minute. The atmosphere, graphics, game play and missions are all top-notch.
The baby aliens that run and jump on your back gives me the heebie-jeebies.

I only played the first and second, not the third. Those two are more horror driven, but the third is pretty much all action based and ends on a cliffhanger that won't get resolved. The second has a good enough ending for the series though if you pursue it!

And yeah, there's some serious nightmare fuel with the enemy design! I had a hard time sleeping with the lights off for a while when I first played it!

edit: mine plays just fine. i have complete audio, no issues.

i, too, have a pioneer avr (vsx-60). i use a ps4 to play the movie.

try other movies
try unplugging the connected hdmi cable and plugging it into a different port
as well, try the movie on another system (if possible)

This middle aged guy at the movie theater yesterday could not leave his phone alone during the first act of the movie. He kept taking it out for a few minutes. And it wasn't even like he was looking up emails or texts or social media, it was to play some simple mobile game. Eventually he put it away. I wonder if he had cell phone addiction.

people like this are why we need ushers to make a comeback.

put 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom. when they see a phone come out, they walk over and ask them to put it away.

second time? they "tell" them to put it away or they'll have to leave.

third time? they escort them to the exit.

I got some water in my contact lenses and now one of them is blurry no matter how many times I wash it or how long it sits in solution. I know water and soft contacts don't mix, but this was only a small splash. The other lens is fine. Is this common?
