It was my understanding that the marathon begins at home with the first two films on blu-ray or Netflix, followed by the new entry in theaters for free with the Samsung/Fandango movie cash.

Yeah plus I think doing a marathon in theatres next year with all 4 films will be even better and I won't be past my eyes in debt so I will be more able to justify spending the entire day at the movies. I tried to find a good Katniss avatar with no luck, I may look again later.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I thought it was the best of the series so far. Excellent performances and exciting action throughout with a killer cliffhanger! My sold out audience applauded throughout. Loved that the film was "Dedicated in Loving Memory to Phillip Seymour Hoffman" (Everyone applauded when that popped up).

Excellent film, cannot wait for Part 2.

I wanna start the marathon soon, but I still don't know when I should go to avoid crowds. Either early, early Friday morning, or next Monday or Tuesday when the kiddies/teens are still in school before turkey break? I'm okay with large crowds in general, but I don't necessarily trust the young fanbase who will be flocking out to see this. Texting, chatting, crunching, you know.....the works.

Yeah that's another reason to go between shifts, also this way I can sleep after before I have to close at my night job. I doubt she will get nominated for an Oscar for this role, tweener films aren't exactly held in high regard by the Academy and I can't remember the last time someone this far into a role/series got a nod.

Well going by the first two films, wouldn't you think there'd be a lot of politics in this film? That's why I think this is deeper than most tweener franchises, it's deep and emotional and the main character takes an incredible journey.

Stuckmann is incorrect unless the previews are wrong and they're completely changing what happens in the first half/third/two-thirds of the novel.
