That would be the week after it comes out on Blu-ray that you're referring to. That would be too late.

Yeah, I have no idea what happened.
My contact is still trying to find out. She's annoyed as well.

Clearly Chaotic's response was sarcastic.

Would it have helped if he'd added "Here's your sign..." to the end of his post?

Your contact just texted me a picture of the most up-to-date information she has available to her.

As you can see, it's not looking good.

Oh, So wormraper was referring to 'next week' where he said 'another week', meaning when the screencaps for Avegers: AoU's Blu-ray could be released. He also said 'Maybe. It all depends on when Marvel sends out screeners', when I asked him if he was referring to next neek when he said another week.

Would you just tell us if you made the whole thing up or not? Every time someone asks you directly you disappear, then bring up vague references to your "contact." That tells us nothing because it means you're hearing about this very niche exclusive secondhand. Is she annoyed because they didn't announce it yet or because they're not doing it at all? Or is she not real in the first place?

I didn't disappear, I got suspended.
No, I did not make it up.
She's annoyed that they didn't announce them and cannot get a reason as to why the announcement was delayed.

That's probably exactly the reason why. They know it's going to sell no matter what and so it doesn't matter. They could have Iron Man taking an iron dump on the cover and it's still selling.

Unrelated to that... This is a sincerely amazing, mind blowing super-hero comic adventure movie. I can't believe anyone that even has a slight interest in this genre/theme wouldn't like it. It's like people forgot that super-hero/comic movies are supposed to be fun or something. The best team superhero movie so far, just beating out Guardians of the Galaxy in my opinion by a small margin [and just behind the Nolan Batman films as best overall] Every single person shined bright and was given opportunity to grow and have an included place, the team aspects of them working together and banter between each other was nearly flawless.

Whedon is a master, and hero of the arts.

It was like Tony Stark was made to be in the hands of Whedon's mighty pen.

To put it into perspective, i used to be a DC fanboy until the Avengers movie/Marvel movie universe broke through. Age of Ultron just reaffirms how awesome the Marvel movie -verse truly is. I still prefer DC's comic verse though but Marvel is utterly destroying them in the movie verse and now making strong waves in the series verse with Daredevil, Agents of SHIELD, Agent Carter.

[Show spoiler]Ultron was an awesome villain as well, one of my favorite movie villains. I see that a lot of complaints about Ultron was his joking but i don't think the complaints are from a place of understanding that Ultron is somewhat in Tony Stark's image and so he's taking on aspects of Stark's sarcastic/joking sardonic wit even though he essentially despises his creator. This was hinted at when Ultron was 1 second faster in telling the same joke as Tony and references by Tony calling Ultron "junior", etc.

An amazing feat to bring Vision to life on the big screen in such a way.

The Black Widow/Hulk romantic arc was a bit forced but it actually worked for me.

Hawkeye's character was elevated and given depth with his family life. Showing that he does provide something valuable to the team that is needed beyond the super human strength, the god powers, etc. That human heart aspect. That every day person working hard to support and protect their families and that being a driving force within their heart and soul. None of the others on the team have that perspective exactly and so it does show value and depth to the Hawkeye character in relation to being on such a powerful super-hero team that it's not all about super power force.

This was a sequel of adding much depth to the franchise. All of the characters grew and were given more depth in my view.

People who attacked Whedon over this movie should be ashamed of themselves. If they want to attack anyone they should look at themselves and their own ignorance as what they're attacking over is based on not understanding things. Whedon has done more for empowering female characters than just about anyone and is one of the greatest ever at what he does.

Black Widow for example wasn't saying she was a monster simply because she couldn't have kids, there was an ongoing theme of all the Avengers having aspects of them that could be seen as monsters not so different than the Hulk. Captain America's war for example has similarities to Bruce's Hulk, same as Black Widow's spy life in that it's not something entirely brought about through them but it's a part of who they are and has to their nature very tragic aspects to them and it's something they have to live with.

The one negative i agree with is Quicksilver's death, it seemed unnecessary. He could've saved Hawkeye/the kid and still had similar impact with the scene but i guess in one of the hero's death and ultimate sacrifice it gave the entirety more depth, and also Scarlet Witch more depth but it still seemed a bit unnecessary looking back at it.

I hope Joss Whedon continues to bring awesome Marvel content in the future in some capacity. It doesn't get much better than him.

If anyone hasn't seen this yet, my advice is to go in with no expectations. Having very high expectations going into a movie will ruin a lot of movie experiences a lot of times. I think that might be part of the reason some people are disappointed in this where they expected it to be the best movie ever made in the history of movies or something and it was built up to impossible heights. All that does it set something up for failure.

Side note: I'm going with the Vision steelbook i guess. I badly wanted to go Ultron and feel it represents the movie better to have Ultron represented but i have an issue with supporting the villain if there's a choice involved not to... Vision is a bit more unique being NA exclusive and is an awesome character in his own right as well so it's not a bad choice by any means.

Final note: To clarify my rankings/ratings of Age of Ultron and Nolan's Batman... I actually like and enjoy this, the first Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy over the Batman movies but i feel that Batman and Superman are the biggest comic franchises (imo) and so it's extremely difficult to create a great Batman or Superman movie because everything is that much more criticized and restrictive, also not having a team makes it even more difficult because you don't have that variety to work with [however, it could be argued working with a team can be very difficult also and so maybe that's equal]... so i feel like Nolan had the tougher project/quest before him and succeeded putting together great films and that's why i rate/rank it at the top, even though i enjoyed Age of Ultron/Avengers/Guardians of the Galaxy more.

There aren't/weren't pictures because they were still finalizing them.

So, according to you, I'm not allowed to let people know that an exclusive is on the way?

We don't know for sure an exclusive is coming; that's the point. You gloated about having insider information without revealing anything. If you said nothing, we'd know exactly as much as we do right now until anything (if ever) is announced; you just got people's hopes up and nobody is sure if it's really coming or just you making it up. Fine, you're telling the truth, and that told us nothing whatsoever.
