Did anyone here pick up the standard edition of the Shock-o-Rama Video Party disc? Just wondering if it came with the printed interview/insert just as the slipcover version did?

Wondering about a few old SWV titles

I know Jared said someone owns Blood Freak (1972) and Asylum of Satan (1972) but is difficult to work with / wants too much money. Wonder if this same person also own Girdler's "Three on a Meathook" as well?

Curious about who owns these old SWV titles:

Doctor Gore / The Body Shop (1972) - this SWV DVD had a short print run back in the day. I assume it had rights issues, even back then?

Mad Butcher / Meat is Meat (1971) with Victor Buono

I guess these are Harry Novak library, so it would have to be Arrow or maybe Severin?
The Toy Box (1971)
Please Don't Eat My Mother (1973)

Not sure about THREE ON A MEATHOOK. I know VS' Joe Rubin is a big fan of that one so I'm sure he knows who owns it, if such a thing is known at this time.

THE BODY SHOP has the same owner as BLOOD FREAK and ASYLUM OF SATAN.

THE MAD BUTCHER is another Novak title. Unless it's reverted back to the European owners.

Thanks Jared. I also thought I heard something about difficulty locating elements for THREE ON A MEATHOOK, years ago. It's great if Joe is a fan. Gives it a good chance to come out eventually (if possible).

Whoever it is that owns THE BODY SHOP, BLOOD FREAK, and ASYLUM OF SATAN are definitely sitting on some primo SWV oldies, but they are crazy if they think they're holding a golden lottery ticket. These titles are going to sell a few thousand copies each, max.

The AGFA Ed Wood titles are just straight rereleases of the MVD discs from 5-6 years back, aren't they? Just the slip covers are new?

I'd love to see releases of Asylum of Satan and Three on a Meathook - I've yet to see a William Girdler movie I didn't like!

Really not happy with the low print run on the Ed Wood releases.
Seems they will be gone before the subscriber week sale.

Take it Out in Trade is over 70% sold so don't wait too long if you want that slip.

This has probably been answered but I couldn't see it when I searched. What happened between AGFA and Bleeding Skull? Those were always my favourite AGFA releases and I'm sad it's over.

the releases have always been sporadic. As far as I can tell it's not done.

The Bleeding Skull website mentions it being a partnership from 2018-2022, so it apparently is over. It was a surprise and a bummer to me too.

I'm wondering if with the proliferation of SOV stuff from other labels now maybe they're going to be working with someone else (Terror Vision?). In any case, it sucks.

I had no idea until you mentioned it and then seeing that phrasing on the Bleeding Skull site. It is odd but I don't think there's anything nefarious. Joseph started Bleeding Skull, and still actively works on it with his partner Annie and he's also director of AGFA. Maybe something as simple as branding or licensing stuff?
