Probably a good thing. They should get a lot more stringent in delivering review screeners. A majority of the early reviewers, i.e. those on youtube, are complete dipshits providing little to no value add.

With that said, reputable sites like this one, should timely receive a review copy.

Amazon still showing the 6th matters little when they're perfectly willing to say that all the way until noon on release day before finally sending you a delay email. Just happened this week with The Matrix Trilogy for me, and has happened multiple times before.

With the current production issues in North America this could easily miss its ship date.

Sounds like Amazon U.S are having issues. Luckily Amazon U.K are still knocking them out ok. I ordered 2001 last night at work about 20.20 hours and they delivered it at 13.44 hours.
With America being such a huge country do they do next day delivery like they do in the U.K? I’m assuming that when they send pre-orders they have to send them two or three days beforehand? Will that be the case with Superman?

They do next day deliveries in the U.S. I ordered my copy yesterday of Reloaded on Amazon and had the option of same day or next day delivery. I chose next day delivery.

Didn't you say though that The Matrix Reloaded was not near as good a 4K release as 2001? How is that possible if your Amazon shipment was delayed?

I'm leaning towards just being a digital code from someone here as I've never seen it, and I just don't know how I'd feel about an old superhero movie.

If this is a must-have movie, please sell me on it. This is just an expensive month (as well as November will be). Just need to spend wisely.

Jeez Louise. It's the granddaddy of them all and an epic tale as well with an actor basically born for the role of Superman and one of the iconic movie scores of Hollywood. Every single time I hear John Williams' Superman theme, I sit up and take notice with thrilling chills running down my spine.


Yes, it's more family oriented (though it does have its over-the-kids'-heads, inside joke moments meant for older viewers) and not as mean spirited as current Marvel and DC stuff, but with a comicbook character like Superman, it's to be expected. Take a chance.
