Just watched tonight's episode and wow did anyone see Jim Carrey's daughter audition? It also said she is a waitress! Whats goin on? How is his daughter working as a waitress and auditioning for Idol haha? That is to funny! Also the filipino chick got vocals! Got Em!!

Yeah, that was weird but cool that she doesn't seem like a spoiled brat like many other celebrity offspring. She sang really well too.

I missed the episode due to that football game running late. They need to make Smart DVRs that can track this sort of thing. Or not air new episodes of anything the same night as a sporting event that is shown on the same channel.

Ah well, by the sound of it there wasn't any really bad singers or wacky auditions... I don't care about the good singers until after the major cuts in Hollywood and want to see all the funny things that happen in the auditions. So far it's been a huge let down.

Yea she sang decent but I need to hear more. She kinda looks like Miley Cyrus a little bit I thought also. Got Em!!

Funny thing was I watched Spartacus right after the actual game ended and when it was over about 9:10 I went to put on Idol and noticed the stuff after the game was still on and being recorded. I guess they changed the time from 8:00 to 8:30 do to the football coverage. So my DVR recorded from 8:30 to 9 which meant I got an half hour of the show and then I recorded manually from 9:12 to 9:30 the rest so I basically miss the 12 minutes from 9:00 to 9:12. I was pissed also. Got Em!!

Tonight they had some decent auditions. Again all of the bad singing contestants werent to funny. I dont know if they lost their touch or if they are doin away with all the silly auditions? That guy at the end was just plain dumb and not funny at all so they missed with that one. They usually have atleast 2-3 classic funny auditions each season so I am still waiting. Pants on the Ground is still probably my favorite. Got Em!!

I agree with you Czar. Decent auditions but no real stand out atleast as far as I heard. That really hyper girl (or both of them I should say) may bring us some good entertainment this season in any case. Had hopes the last guy would be funnier the way they promoted it but he just ended up being a Russell Brand on downers. And in no way was he as funny as the real Russell Brand.

The Top 24 list supposively "leaked". Don't know how true it is. If it's accurate,

Actually I aint a fan of Brand either so I cant agree with u there but I do hear u about that wannabe though. Got Em!!

Finally tonight we had a few laughs. The first guy was hilarious. What was his name Phong Vu I think? That dude sang his soul out and it was beyond terrible. he even started crying because he felt it so much. That was to funny. The revolution guy was pretty funny also haha.

As for the judges fighting with each over who to send through, I totally agreed with J-Lo every time. I dont know if Steve & Randy were drunk but they sent some good singers home and let that one chick threw who sounded off a bit. Got Em!!

I didn't really care for last nights episode. For starters the only good Country singer they showed wasn't even from Texas but they made a point to show several horrible people trying to mimmick Scotty (Who I still don't care for). Don't know if the Idol producers were trying to make my State look bad or if my own people are doing it for them.. or perhaps a little of both. Also, I didn't laugh at either of those people you mentioned Czar. As for the judges fight... it was a mixture for me. One of them was completely horrible while the others might of been decent singers but they would never of made it far in the competition. Perhaps Steven and Randy's bar is higher than Jennifer's so they don't end up with thousands of people in Hollywood to send home.

It seems like they want a female to win this year. A lot of GREAT female auditions.

I loved that guy! He said he got a cut on his forehead and got nervous, so he rubbed it and it started bleeding again.
