Received The Guess Who quad SACD.
Listening right now.

Loving it so far. Permanent smile on my face as it's playing. So beautiful.

Clarity is terrific. A lot of panning of voices and guitars around the soundstage.
A couple more listens will be nice to fully appreciate everything happening around me, but initially this is a remarkable mix.

Anyone that appreciates being truly surrounded by a "surround" mix will love this. Much the way Marleys Legend mix does.

I've listened through twice now, and every song is amazing. Funnily enough, American Woman is one of the most pedestrian mixes of the bunch.

Steve Hoffman nailed it here!

It's only February, but I'm certain this will top many "surround sound" release lists for 2015.
I can foresee this getting mostly 10s and a few scattered 9s at the QQ forums.

Along with Dark Side of the Moon, and some of the Diana Krall SACD's, although more for the music than the mixes, my favourite SACD so far is GUITAR HEROES [SACD HYBRID] by LOS ANGELES GUITAR QUARTET (LAGQ)

If you like guitar you should get one before it's too late.

I got a copy on amazon.de for Euros 18 a while back. Now, it's 55.

It's really worth it. Each guitar has its own channel, and it's used superbly.

Well, I plan to listen to this in stereo anyways, but that is good to know.

All of her others. Really.

My favourite in terms of surround may be "The Girl in the Other Room", but the others are great too.

Had a good listen to the new stereo and quad transfers of "The Best of Bread" from Audio Fidelity over the week-end, just gorgeous sonics. I hope we see new 5.1 mixes coming from AF soon having brought Elliot Scheiner into the fold but in the meantime it's nice to get the old Quad mixes in as good a transfer as possible. Looking forward to the Doors best of SACD coming soon.

Just ordered the Tony Bennett at Carnegie Hall Hybrid 3-channel SACD from Elusive Disc.
This should be great to listen to on Mother's Day.

Got "Super Furry Animals - Love Kraft" last week. Wondering, there's no mention of SACD on cover or disc label, no SACD logos, no sign at all. But this disc is hybrid SACD! Very interesting music and very well sound.

I received and am listening to the aforementioned Tony Bennett SACD.
So crisp! What an amazing voice! I'd swear I'm at Carnegie Hall back in '62 as I listen to this.

This type of high-quality music is a godsend.

Panicked one day when I saw they were all OOP and managed to grab the entire Black Sabbath collection.

Spent the weekend listening to them. Overall quite happy.

One thing I noticed is at least one of the discs (Paranoid) seems to be 'louder' than the others. I thought with SACD they finally got rid of the wildly different level volumes that plagued CD's???

One other critique, I know it's all about the music, but I find the Japanese SACD releases to be a bit boring with their plain green discs.

I just received and am listening to the Best of the Doors SACD with the quad mix.
Sounds great. It's early so I can't quite play it loud enough yet, but I had to increase the bass output a bit for my taste.
The mix and discrete instrument output is excellent.
Clarity is outstanding.
Hoffman seems to have knocked another one out of the ballpark!
