Long time lurker, finally decided to join...
Any news or images of the gift set? There are two unboxing videos of it on YouTube for the Thailand edition which comes with the standard release instead of the tin we are getting. I'm just curious if the figures quality are up to par and look as good as they do in the videos. If anything, I'll buy the gift set and the regular edition then try to sell off the tin to break even. |

A caveat for those who think their in-store preorder is for the 3D edition (tin or otherwise) for $19.99 based on the card's barcode label: Notice Step 6 and the fine print at the bottom of the card back (scanned in this Deals forum thread, plus I have one in hand to make sure they get it right). From that, the constant use of "any JW BD" on the card, plus this week's ad separately mentioning the tin, this is the way I see it happening:
For online preorders (in-store pickup OR shipping), as far as the BD version I'd go by whatever was listed on the order when you placed it. If it also mentions the T-shirt, you'll get that separately -- either at the store or in the mail. Last edited by RBBrittain; 10-15-2015 at 09:32 AM. Reason: Clarify |

I'm planning on going into today after work and hopefully place my pre-order. What are the chances that I could be walking out with my free t-shirt? Or will I have to wait until the movie is released on Tuesday? I really don't want to have it shipped because then I would have to pay for shipping which in return its not free. I work so its impossible for to pick up on Tuesday. And by Thursday (day off) I'm sure they will be all gone. Unless my pre-order reserves me a t-shirt Or its a first come first serve basis.. Any thoughts on this?

I would suggest preordering it thru BestBuy.com for in store pickup. Then they would have to save a t-shirt for you because it would be part of your order as a separate item. I agree with others that the in store prepurchase may simply be a $19.99 time limited deposit toward any version of Jurassic World based on the language of the card, rather than a prepurchase of the 3D edition itself. Therefore, if you are really worried about the t-shirt, preorder on BestBuy.com for in store pickup. Update: In store pickup thru BestBuy.com may not be available for all editions (especially the 2D Tin), depending on the location. So the in store prepurchase offer may be your only choice for your preferred location :-/ Last edited by disneywildcat; 10-15-2015 at 03:48 PM. |

The weight is pretty decent too. Wouldn't hold up large text books but will definitely hold up a pile of Blu-rays!. For the money, it's definitely worth it. My only caveat is the actual Blu-ray set, would have preferred the standard Blu-ray case and not the stupid round tin. |

What are the dimensions of the tin (diameter across, and width)? And does it feel hard and sturdy or flimsy? Thanks!

The diameter is 14.25 cm across, 2.5cm tall and it feels pretty solid. Not easily bendable. Would have to apply a decent amount of force to get the lid to warp in any way. The whole lid is also embossed too which is nice.

Thank you! A bit bigger than I thought! I was thinking of possibly getting like an old 8mm film reel case to put them in and do some custom design on it, but they may be too big for that. I'll have to see for sure when I get it. Thanks!
