Sorry to go a bit off topic, but how do people feel about the FandangoNow streaming app when it comes to UHD titles? I have been really impressed with Vudu, which at times is hard to distinguish from the UHD in terms of PQ. But the one title I own and watched in UHD on FandangoNow just looked awful. Not sure if it's just my setup or if the app is known to be lesser quality.

That's if Universal don't apply their standard HDR-O-matic to it. The other movies could well be getting timed from scratch for HDR so I'm a bit less worried, but existing masters don't seem to be getting the love that they should be.

Yeah I still need to watch some of these Universal discs like Compton and Kong 05. The few minutes I sampled of Mummy 3 looked fine though.

That was back in Universal's "we didn't know any better" phase. Now they all be like "this is HDR and you gonna like WHAT YOU GET"

I was 11 or 12 when I saw it on home video VHS, and no one on screen grabbed my attention. Dern has grown on me in time -- Your experience could be literally saddled with the phrase "each to their own"

I personally wouldn't be watching no streaming version. This will be at christmas for me with my then-fresh setup. Whether its good or not. But lucky for me I'll know by then. Unlucky I'll be itching for months if many here report it anywhere akin to Sony levels
