I posted this in the steelbook thread and I thought I'd post it here too.

I just thought I'd stop by and say that Malko's 1 tab steelbook protector can fit this steelbook, at least without the J-card. Its a snug fit but it does fit. I know another brand was recommended earlier in the thread but Malko works too if anyone prefers them.

Also, I bought a copy with the slip from Orbit DVD and instead of "made in Germany" being stamped on the inner case, its stamped on the back of the slipcover. I know its a minor thing but it annoyed me that it had to be stamped there of all places. Its my only slip to have the "made in (blank)" stamp on it. There were some copies on eBay that had it on the slip too. I know it'd be too much trouble trying to exchange this slip with one without it from either Orbit or Paramount, but its such an annoying little detail. Oh well, I'm just glad to have a copy where I won't have to worry about nearly breaking the 4K disc in two trying to get it out. Hence why the steelbook is now in the protector.

It's not a night and day difference.

It's more akin to realizing, upon watching this 4K, that you've been watching this film on an entirely different planet.

Seriously, legitimate quibbles aside, this is the only way to watch this film when presented with the choice between 4K or Blu-ray.

If you're talking about the steelbook, it was really limited as some are. That's why you have to pre-order them ****ers now just in case. Found that out the hard way with Halloween Kills and a couple other ones I missed by waiting, hoping to get my pick in store.

If talking about the standard, it's all over and on sale recently. There's still a copy sitting at my local Target. Some places might be out of stock right now due to the price drop, but it's not impossible to find. The steelbook is also possible to find, you just have to pay extra to "re-sellers" now.

Thanks for the advice, I went ahead and made the purchase and I look forward to viewing it for the first time.
I suppose I should toss in the old disc for comparison. And geez, this old blu-ray is about as old as Blu-rays get seeing how it was released on September 26, 2006 or 17 years 5 months and 1 week ago.

Finally liked the $16.xx price on Amazon enough to pick up a copy for my FYE steelbook, disc fit perfectly in there even with the original blu-ray. Seems secure enough for sitting on a shelf but I'll try not to jiggle it around too much.

This is the exception. The media section there is down to like 20 titles, but they did have this. Since posting it isn't there anymore. Maybe it sold, maybe it got sent back. 99% of what they have is new releases.
