I seriously without being bias dont see how Benjamin Button doesnt exceed in all these categories. SOME ONE HELP ME. Allow me to see the movie in your eyes. Why does everyone crap on this movie????? Is it because its unrealistic? Why? I need to know!

In addition isnt this the only movie to be put in the Criterion Collection with its initial release? Thats gotta mean something?
You are trying to find a way to UNappreciate the film?

Dont take "learning about film" too far. If you like it, you like it. Doesnt matter what others think. It doesnt even matter if its a piece of trash. If you are able to freely enjoy it, continue to do so.

A wee bit of semi-spoilers in the review/images, so tread carefully.

As you pointed out, he begins working, has his first drink, has sex for the first time, all while growing up. These are typical things for a teen, but he looks old and for the most part he lives a very simple, elderly lifestyle. As he begins to look younger, he lives a normal life of love and happiness with Cate in their middle years. This is where they're both at the same place in life. As he gets older, he's passing Cate in age and he acts with his young body, taking off to travel the world.

I can't wait to watch this one again, as it's been a while. Anyone who has a nice sound system in their HT setup knows that the AQ is killer! I use the hospital thunder scenes, the U-Boat firefight and the boat foghorn as demo scenes!
Exactly. You already know i love it. I'll be looking forward to your future aspect on the movie. In addition you are dead on this a a reference disc all they way. Amazing PQ and AQ. Its rare to get bought and im very grateful.

Do you have separate lists for "favorites" and "Best"?

I guess. Hear me out. There are allot of movies out here. If i see i movie and dont like it but others LOVE it i wanna know what im missing. Sometimes i fully dont understand movies so i need to hear others talk about it to understand it.

You make perfect sense but im all about other views. I thought 2001 ASO was boring as hell, but it looked amazing. Its allot of people's favorite SCI FI movie. I wanna be able to experience what they experienced so im trying to adapt.

I can never change my initial feeling of a movie but i can learn to love it. FARGO is a great example.

Killer Inside Me 4.5/5
Batman Begins 5/5
PQ 3/5
AQ 4/5
Still think it's better than TDK, more fully explored the Batman character and had a better cast of villains, not to mention the best exploration to date of Batman's origins.

I'll probably watch Troy tomorrow or this weekend myself, in the mood for swordfights and hot chicks, will be watching lots of horror Sunday-Tuesday.

LOL he did the wrong thing, he got the reviewer for one of the biggest box sets ever to hit blu-ray mixed up with another one.

just remember this while watching it: this is the actual speed in space.
pretend you're at the park. would you think "damn, this is too slow. that swan can't swim for shi%"? what would you say if you heard me say that, then get up and walk home saying "this park sucks ,its waaaaay too slow"
No, you'd just tell me to watch and enjoy nature at its natural speed. no different here.
BB Guns speed 'em up.

Yep. The Top 250 list I mentioned I'm working on consists of the "best" films. Only 2 or 3 of my favorites are even in the first 100 of that list. I will announce it when it is complete. What are your favorites?

Blade Runner
Brazil

Now I have to redo my list again

That's okay I forgot a few as well like Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Alien (on its release day too )

The order of my list looks slightly different depending on which of my documents it's saved in.
