That's why jj's trek movies rocked for you, I personally think they suck for mainly two reasons:
1- JJ is in Star Wars mode all the way;
2- they both are really badly written.
No, I think epVII will be good for two reasons:
1- JJ is in Star Wars mode all the way;

We have no idea if the Jedi Council has any kind of confession booths or a non-retaliation policy for members to find guidance on their indiscretions. Anakin felt comfortable with Palpatine because he's outside of the council, and he always expressed mistrust of the council that Anakin could relate to. Anakin clearly didn't feel comfortable sharing his secret with any council members (and even Obi-Wan would have probably just made a fuss and try to force him to stop, which is what he didn't want; Anakin was fed up with Obi-Wan's wisdom anyway). Even if he tried to beat around the bush, the council would have probably suspected him even more than usual.

Yoda (and maybe even Ahsoka) would have turned him in, I'll bet. So who else would there have been in Anakin's life to give advice? R2? Watto? Jar Jar?

I dunno, it all seems clear-cut to me, at least for the purposes of the story; the guy just had nowhere to turn to other than the Dark Side. Mistrust and secrecy is a part of Anakin's downfall, and it ultimately bled into the way the Empire itself was run (as evidenced by all the bickering moffs and such).

Ahsoka knew, but she brought up the subject indirectly only in her last scene of Clone Wars, it makes it even more tragic in hindsight.

Lindelof and Orci are most DEFINITELY hacks... Orci is a nutjob and Lindelof can't write himself out of a paper back... at least tie some f@cking loose ends up MORON!!!! (aimed at Lindelof)

and the masses are most DEFINITELY stupid.. that I learned about YEARS ago for all aspects of life...there are very few people on this earth that deserve oxygen...

but the film industry is much like the booze and food industry. your average every day person thinks Jim Beam, Captain Morgans and Budweiser is good liqour and wouldn't know the difference between a craft beer, Woodford's reserve or a nice bottle of Johnny Walker Black if it bit them in the a$$. they're happy with their pig slop and can't tell the difference

You can't compare Jim Beam and Johnnie Walker Black. Jeez. Why not compare Johnnie Walker and Grey Goose?!

Jim Beam is Kentucky bourbon, Johnnie Walker is Scotch whiskey. And I'll take Blue Label over Black anyway -- though obviously it's a "bit" more expensive. But the point stands: comparing Bourbon and Scotch is ridiculous.

It's better, yes.

But I would argue about the vodka, to be honest. Once you get above a certain base level with vodka, it's pretty much the same. Well, it's not the same, but it's not different enough to justify the difference in cost. It has to do with the way vodka is made.

That's just my opinion, based on years and years and years of consuming way too much vodka, though.

lol, yeah the differences between medium grade and high grade vodka starts to deteriorate faster than say whiskies.... a good svedka comes much closer to say Ketel One, Titos or Belvadaire than Makers Mark does to Black Maple Hill

Even Cars has a high RT scores but it's still merchandise-driven rubbish.

Got confused, I didn't check RT in along time, I should edit.

I checked RT now and there are a few films which now have a lower or higher score than I remember, still a lot are a bit too generous or severe.
