Negative, i am in the same boat as you. Only ones I like are Dazed and Confused and Godzilla. The rest I find boring and dull. Oh, and I like Seven Samurai. I have no clue what makes a film qualify for Criterion but it always seems to me they could have a lot better of a selection.

This was waiting for me when I got home from work today, from WBShop.

Here's where it gets interesting: They shipped me two copies. I only ordered one. One of the boxes (the tracking number they provided me) had a receipt, with an incorrect total that didn't take off the $10 coupon. The second shipment had no receipt.

I checked my credit card account and found that they only charged me once, and for the correct amount.

I suppose I should do the noble thing and let them know, however tempting it may be to just flip it.

Good karma, bud. I got a second copy from BBY last month too (can't remember which title) so I called them up. They asked me to take it to a BBY store if it was convenient. I said sure and did. By the end of that week, I received a $20 GC from them in the mail. Didn't even know they were doing that.

I think I may have hit a record for most stickers on a single blu-ray.

Picked up The Artist today from B&N during the 50% sale. Personally, I think B&N should have added more stickers. ...

It had the UV sticker, a Hollywood Sweepstakes sticker, an ultra-sticky B&N price sticker, and a 50% off promo sticker. And that's just the front! The back had a UPC sticker on the slipcover, as well as another UPC sticker on the plastic wrapping over the barcode.

6 stickers in total. I think they went a bit overboard.

Sheesh talk about sticker overkill.

Oh well at least on that slip the won't be too hard to take off. Hopefully the holofoil won't peel.

They were all pretty easy to get off, except for the B&N price sticker. It was similar to one of those heavy duty security tages for whatever reason, so it took a while to peel up and left a lot of super-sticky residue. Finally got it all off, but it was a mess.

The threat of import charges always makes Criterion sales a little bittersweet for us UK dwellers. I have Bottle Rocket thanks to eBay, but I'm still waiting on Rushmore & Darjeeling (upgrading from DVD). Glad to hear you got a good deal on them - Criterion discs aren't the most wallet friendly.
