Nobody can bring the end of the world quite like Roland! A llil too much shown on the trailer but I guess thats how you try and pull in all the viewers!

I'm not a big Roland Emmerich fan, but holy shi.... The CGI companies has finally meet the ambitious level these hack special effect directors (think m. bay)
Wow is this going to be a big thrill watching this, the only reason i'm going to watch this, is for the special effects.

I was asking the same question when I finished watching the trailer. But this movie does look pretty intense. I really enjoyed Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow, so Im pretty sure I will enjoy this one.

Coincidentally, Independence Day had that song when that one guy was doing putt-putt golf right before that "signal" caught their attention.....

This trailer I saw when I went to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and a lot of people were "OOO-ing" to watch more of the movie.....let's just hope that the trailer is just a tad of what we can expect, rather than the trailer showing all the good parts and the rest is a sucky movie!!

So, anyone know what causes "the end of the world" this time out? A shot in the trailer seems to imply a close call by another planet.

I will go watch this movie because I can afford the $10. I will not, however, say "Looks like crap, I won't go see it but I know I wouldn't like it anyway."

Oh, and there are many ways for "the world to end." It might be better stated as "our way of life ending."

I wasn't pretty much clear in the first place...

If it was the end of the world, I'd pretty much run around naked with only a Darth Vader helmet, yelling incoherent sounds get run over, drink gallons of Red Bull, go to my house, cry in an emotional moment, roll over, get some clothes on, watch my last movies, look at my backyard, the house, my neighborhood for just a moment, tie myself to a nuke and then blow myself up before we all get engulfed by Mother Nature herself.

That's pretty much it!
