Scarface US Steelbook

Just got an email confirming its going to remain $9.99, and Best Buy should have the U&S $5 coupon starting today as well. You know what to do

i dunno how your Best Buys have been...

but my Best Buy in Novi, one of the busiest in MI, no longer had the steelbook display, this as of last week... and looking around on the shelves, very few steelbook blus at all... just a few randoms...

Went to my local BB and traded in some DVDs for the U&S $5 coupon. I went to check out the movies, and apparently my BB is moving stuff around and relocated the movies.

I found them but not everything was back out yet. They had one of the library carts loaded with movies. I picked up a few things, but couldn't find any of the universal steels and went to the computer to check if they were on sale.

Next to the computer was a mountain of the universal steels

I ended up getting Scarface for $4.99 and Shaun of the Dead for $9.99 to replace the SotD I have with a spine slash

Mine today only had the Best Buy exclusive versions of The Dark Knight Rises and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows that included the DVD and UV. I was super disappointed, as I was going in for Goodfellas, V for Vendetta, and Chinatown today. I haven't been in there in about a month since I got Sucker Punch and Watchmen, and they had TONS of the WB steels left then.

Was your steel area flexed over with DVDs as well? I was miffed when I saw that. Couldn't even fill it with blus...

They were all sorts of mixed in.

So I cracked open one of my Scarfaces, and it is infact original run, inside artwork, 10 collectible art cards, and a digital copy that "must be redeemed by 09/30/12". No worries though, I was able to enter it in iTunes without any issue.

they actually moved where all the media is...
before when you walked in, to the left was the new releases and movies/cds behind...
now new releases are still in the same place... but everything else was moved to the far left of the store... i had to search for the media dept... lol... then yea, just a few random steels...

Ok, I thought this was weird. I was at Best Buy and found 2 copies of the steelbook. And for some reason both were the Canadian version. I still picked up a copy because I've been wanting to get it for a while, but I just thought it was strange because I live in Chicago.

Right! The first BBY SteelBook wave that had LOTR, Clash of the Titans, etc some of those had Canadian markings on them as well.
