I think they're just trying to boost membership and they are selling data off for market research. Allowing companies to know what movies you see and how often. Which I do not care about at all.

According to their website (which I can barely get to load most of the time, much less sign up) they support all major theaters. "4000 theaters and 36,000 screens!"

And I signed up and my bank account has already been charged the $9.95. So I'm not so sure how the free month works.

I saw something that said it required a smart phone to use. Or is that if you use your phone to buy tickets with the app?

You can just take the card to the theater and buy tickets that way right without the smart phone, app can't you?

I am on the sign up page on my computer. I'm just waiting to see If anyone can answer my question above.

It said you get the $9.95 back when you receive the card in the mail it said.
