I used to own the Crystal Lake Memories book; sold it many years ago for a big profit when it sold out (over $200 so I didn't sit on it). I read the whole thing but don't remember it anymore.

I will probably buy this just to watch once. I did see the Elm Street one but was waiting for certain things I heard about that never happened.

More news regarding the upcoming documentary. Harry Manfredini has created a NEW SCORE for the doc!

Franchise veteran composer Harry Manfredini has created a new original score to accompany the Friday The 13th documentary and we are sure Harry's music will further enhance the awesome experience of Crystal Lake Memories, for which his credit can be found at the documentary's IMDb page. Make sure to check the page out to see a nice listing of actors and crew who are appearing in the show as well and look for the documentary to street on August 27th!

I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually did a doc. on Halloween but I can 100% guarantee it won't be out this year. This doc. has been a year or two in the making. It would have been announced at least a year ago like this doc. was, and I doubt they would be able to tackle both at the same time. I know there was talk about them tackling Pinhead and the Hellraiser series but I think they realized there might not be a strong enough fan base. I'm pretty sure they did mention Halloween as well, but again I would assume it probably won't be for another year or two at the earliest.

It has just been announced that this will be a blu-ray/dvd combo pack. The documentary is 7 hours long and will come on 1 blu-ray & 2 dvd's. Also, if you order directly through the Crystal Lake Memories website you will get an exclusive 4th dvd of special features !

Hmmm exclusive dvd? Why?
If they offered up a blu-ray then I might be enticed to order through them. I'll probably just get it cheaper from Amazon. Sounds like I'll have enough bonus content to suit my needs.

Eh, it's a DVD. Not much incentive for me to order direct.

+1...they probably had a lot of material, but needed to show some restraint and not just put everything on the doc, give it some kind of flow. I'll gladly order direct for the bonus...don't care that it's a DVD at all.
