The only thing that kills a movie for me, any movie, is if it bores me and that cuts across classics every bit as much as poverty row crap. However, entertainment value works exactly the same way. Like you, I too have my threshold and understand what you're saying. With these, there are many factors involved with my affection for them, but I readily admit they are not for everyone.

And even though I posted that I would like at least better copies of them, I also wonder if some of their charm would be lost seeing them in relatively pristine transfers. The Wade Williams versions of many of these represent the best they have ever looked on home video, but that's not always saying much. I wonder if they lost that late, late show or Saturday matinee feel to them if they would still be so appealing. We will never know as virtually none will ever make it to Blu.

As MisterLime notes in the latest Kino/Lorber update, there is no set date yet for the 3-D release of Gog.

Note the appearance of Vera Miles in the Beast trailer, but not in the film itself.

I quite like Them, never seen most of these though. Not sure if they'd really do it for me.

PS: Don't forget, there are plenty of pulse-pounding 50's sci-fi/horror trailers, terrifying documentaries, and out of this world links in this thread's second post!

Thanks for that link Cranston37

That was a real depressing read -
TFAW is one of my all time favorites

I'm OK with my DVD ,
And have some peace now knowing that WB is working on finding the necessary resources

Still, what a drag

Yes..I will buy any that are released on Blu-ray!
A few more from the 50s and 60s.
I think we missed a relevant Kino announcement in this thread from last month:

Seeing this thread made me realize how much I have a lot to catch up on.

I'm definitely picking up CURSE OF THE FACELESS MAN. I've always wanted to see it.

Sad to hear about the TFAW, but what is the hold up on War of the Worlds, This Island Earth, Invaders From Mars and It Came from Outer Space?

I see that Germany is releasing TIE, but whynot USA and what's with the others?
