So unless Sony separately releases a remastered BD I wouldn't think so on this one.

A few things working in Troopers' favor: It remains a go-to catalog title for SONY, and it never had a re-fresh on standard blu; the anniversary would be a perfect tie-in.

That said, if they let me down: Is the UK release still the preferred option for encode and glitch avoidance (there was that business about repeated frames and the BD-Live problem).

The glitchy shot was corrected on the US edition years ago and the BD live issue revolved around persistent memory, just plug a USB stick into the player and you're golden. That said, I sold it and got the UK version because it looked a hair better in the caps and it's got PCM 5.1 audio. (Yeah, I know that lossless is exactly that but to me PCM just sounds cleaner somehow.) The PiP commentary on the Sony disc is excellent though, if they do remaster the regular BD in this pack then I hope they include the PiP.

Thanks, I guess the US disk sounds workable--I'd also try killing BDLive features in settings as an attempted bypass of the issue--but I think I lean UK, too; I'm a sucker for marginally better PQ in caps. But first, we'll see what the UHD Anniversary release looks like.

Yep that's what I meant, but I'm just nitpicking for the hell of it That being said, one could also make the argument if a movie is a multi-dip you want different art for each dip. I should probably start a new thread on this.

Poster art as stated a few posts back. I think you are confusing this one with the awful US BD art....lol...which was one of the worst ever on the format.
