Pre-ordered both this and Silence of the lambs (I only owned the cheap blu ray for both). But for Misery I have the Scream factory, which already has the original theatrical poster and features two extras the Kino release doesn't. I like the movie but I think i'm good with the scream blu ray.
But the other two? I need them for sure! Love the slipcover for Invasion, it looks fantastic! Imo, it's one of the top 5 remakes of all time (along with The thing, the fly, The Blob and Night of the living dead 1990).

Both the cover and reverse cover are amazing on this.

It seems like a crapshoot which Kino UHD releases get to keep their Scream Factory extras, and which don't.

Anyways, I'll probably trade off my SF release for this, as all of the important extras have been carried over.

Not sure why they brought back the border for this one, but artwork is looking really nice.

Worth noting that if you order Silence and Misery with Body Snatchers then you won't get the former until the latter is released in November.

I'm in the same boat with Sep & Oct pre-orders so not an issue.

I like my Scream Collector's editions--- I keep them even if I upgrade to 4k.

Did the slip already sell out? I could have sworn that there was an image on the Kino store earlier today. No mention of it in the description...and the photo is not there.

Wow, the overall package looks great. It should make fans of this version very happy.

Cut to me sitting here wishing it was the original getting all this love...or even a proper 1.85 non-SuperScope transfer.

I wish the slip had the alternate reverse art instead. I never loved the main poster art honestly. But I'm glad we have the alternate for the reverse.

Seems to be when they release a 4k+blu and solo blu they use the border to differentiate the two slips e.g. Mad Max, TGBATU but not TSOTL and Misery
