That game last night is the kind that would have been talked about all season if it were real. Down 18 points with under 3 minutes left and to come back and tie, including my first successful onside recovery and a 2 point conversion after throwing 5 INTs was just unbelievable (and over 700 total yards!). I think both of us were kinda resigned that I was going to lose and I decided, well, I should at least act like a real team would and start using time outs, lol. Anyway, has to be the most memorable Madden game I've played in years.

I am crediting my win to my dog Zack who decided to sleep in my lap during the game, lol.

Yeah, great game Slick. I thught the game was pretty much over and I was trying to just run the clock out as much as I could. It went downhill for me after you got the safety when my DB got tackled at the 3yd line after an interception. What was even more crazy was when Austin got tackled at the 1yd line as time expired at the end of regulation that sent the game in over time. I went into typical Jason Garrett mode at the end and couldnt call time out quick enough . Even still, you managed the clock well with your timeouts.....good come back . Couldnt beleive you recovered the onside kick .

There was so much happening I forgot about that safety. And yeah, your not calling a time out, when you could have kicked a field goal for the win with a couple of seconds on the clock and on like the 3 yard line surprised me, I figured you either didn't realize you had time out or the refs didn't see you calling for time out.

And that onside kick, I played another game after and somehow made a second recovery. Now if I can block a FG, lol.

On a separate note there is this guy who has asked me for years to be in his league and I usually join and quit after a couple of games because of all the ridiculous rules. This year we are playing and the kid I am playing, he throws a ball, his guy catches it and my lb strips it into my dbs hand so there was FF and my player ended up with it. He tried to review the play and it wouldn't let him so he told me he wanted the ball back, because the game was wrong, lol. And I guess it was the commish's son and he said the game was wrong to give it back too because the game called the turn over an INT vs a fumble. Some people. lol

Exclamation Advance Times

At this point half of the teams are CPU owned. I think we should be pushing forward as quickly as possible to move this season along to avoid owners from losing interest. Lets try to get these games done by Friday so we can advance a day or 2 before the deadline.

On top of that we need to figure out how we're going to split the earnings. Are we going to keep it with the Final Four or should we include more owners into the mix?

League Balance is $208

Keep the same pace. At the end, when 6 of us are left, split it weighted amongst us, lol. But seriously, when I last logged on, it said 21 owners, that's closer to 2/3 than half.

4 owners (lions, redskins, Jets, Packers) on auto pilot. Redskins may come back for playoffs if they make it. 2 other owners are just not active enough and prob will end up on auto pilot. The pace is no good with so many cpu games. 49ers owner has only had 1 game vs a human opponent. That is no fun. The point is play the cpu asap and try to get human vs human games in asap. Most games are done at the latest Saturday. The ones that have been carrying over to Sunday have wound up getting simmed. If we advance early the due date doesnt change.
