But still a little annoying if you know it's there.

I think it unlikely that the loss of the weight bar did this but could be since i only just started noticing it after i removed it. But it could also just be my eyes that has become more critical too how the picture should look.

I'll try looking at something better but maybe i'll just let it be. At least for a month or two since i have for nearly a year and a half only bought Hifi stuff and nothing else. I need a new vacuum cleaner, new clothes and such.

Im not sure if every projector handles contrast the way mine does but mine get the best contrast with the minimum zoom. Mine however is zoomed in almost at maximum. Making my projector contrast the weakest possible and also quite bright because of the short throw. The ND filter helps with the latter so that the light reflecting from screen too the white walls and back again doesn't smear the picture detail as much. Also lowers the contrast and brightness in the process. That gives you blacker blacks but not really any better contrast detail only the illusion of such. Not the same but similar too what one tries too achieve with a lower gain and/or grey screen.
Hi Tommy.

The whole point of the weights is to keep it from having wrinkles, isn't it? Could you try putting them back on for a few days and see if that fixes it?

You don't need clothes and a vacuum. Just sit around all naked and filthy and enjoy your HT.

Thanks for the frogs Tommy.
I threw out that bar completely. i've tried seemingly everything but ironing the canvas too get those lines out. Because of this im starting too believe it's normal for some too reside on it, i just got unlucky that some of them are a bit more noticeable. But nothing the casual viewer would notice. I just saw Tron Legacy and i only picked up the lines are very few times (love the overall quality of that film ).

No you never absolutely need something too live but i also get some strange looks from my mum. She wants me too start getting a life. lol. So i'll make her happy, at least for a while.

Tron Legacy has amazing A/V quality. The light cycle arena battle is one of my favorite scenes to show off my setup. The Daft Punk music is really awesome too.

Yeah, I was just joking with you. I need to invest in some new clothes too.

I've got company coming over in a few. We are going to watch a movie and some concerts and party a little bit.

Thanks.

Were going to watch Batman Begins. My friend has never seen either one of the new Batman movies. I'll probably watch The Dark Knight tomorrow or Sunday, and then hopefully TDKR on Monday.

You have yourself a freakin' sweet night Tommy.

Thanks buddy. I never cared much for the dark knight, too much action and not enough substance imo. Hopefully dark knight rises will be more like the first one (begins) but i have a feeling not.

We ended up watching Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. My friend had never seen either one, and liked them both.

I do think Batman Begins has a much better story.

Well anything is better than the clooney batman movie. The Val Kilmer version not much better.

Wow, I just woke up and found what I posted here. I would first like to clarify the fact that I was responding about the Val Kilmer Batman with the Tenacious D clip, which he was in, and the "I saw the movie today, oh boy" was apparently implying The Beatles "A Day in the Life" reference to the fact that I saw 'The Dark Knight Rises' today. I was quite intoxicated when I posted that, but still find it somewhat entertaining enough to clarify, instead of just erasing it. I have no reasoning or understanding of where Inverse Elvis came from though.

Have you seen TDKR? It wasn't quite what I expected, but I did enjoy it.

Edit: I just read your thread, and see that you have not.
