It HAS to be a mistake, surely?

Today's mini haul. Wanted to compare how the UK versions gathered against the US version. My original choice was to cancel the UK once I'd got the US releases, but I decided to keep the order. Glad I did. The UK version IS the superior steelbook of this set (I think Europe will get the UK version)

UK - Batman Begins
Matte finish but has a sheen to it, unlike the US version which is dull looking

Comparison shot

UK - Batman
Matte finish but has a sheen to it, unlike the US version which is dull looking. Also the rear does not feature the losing of the image when holding at a certain angle which the US version exhibits. (think of the UK Premium Collection).

UK - Batman Returns
Matte finish but has a sheen to it, unlike the US version which is dull looking

Comparison shot

UK - Batman Forever
Matte finish but has a sheen to it.

UK - Batman & Robin
Matte finish but has a sheen to it.

UK - Dark Knight vs German 1st Edition
Matte finish but has a sheen to it.

Other comparison shots UK vs German 2nd Edition (Trilogy Boxset)

I've just noticed the Batman Returns Steelbook has a 12 certificate on the cover. I thought it was a 15?

It's a strange one. 12 on the outside, but the disc has 15 on it. Well I guess those under 15 but over 12 can now see it

Yes- I was really surprised as this was originally released on bluray late 2010. It has a cut out opening on the front of the slip and comes with a nice 20 page booklet.
I got 2 from Amazon UK last week- both came with slipcovers (first one was slightly damaged so got a replacement).
Attached another pic....
