May be it's the opposite? One of the mods is disgruntled with mredman's repetitive disgruntlement regarding LSH not being in S4 season finale and tried to discourage anyone else from responding to those rants...

'Game of Thrones' season 5 cast revealed | Inside TV | EW.com

At Comic-Con Friday, HBO announced nine new cast members coming to Game of Thrones, including acclaimed veteran actor Jonathan Pryce. Some of the newcomers have been the subjects of online casting rumors for the last several weeks.

The list includes a recasting of young Myrcella Baratheon (Cersei’s daughter, last seen being put in a ship to Dorne for her own protection in season 2) and the addition of Pryce, who will play a powerful religious leader in King’s Landing. Several of the new cast members populate the Kingdom of Dorne, as Thrones shifts part of its focus next year to the home of Prince Oberyn Martell (following his gruesome death at the hands of the The Mountain last season). The Dorne scenes will be largely shot in Spain, which is likewise a fresh location for the multi-country production.

Jonathan Pryce and Alexander Siddig are great castings. Can't say anything of the others as I don't know any of their work off hand.
The lack of certain people is worrying alot of people though, they should have waited until they had them all to avoid panic.

Even with more castings on the way, I think we will see some characters cut. With Trystane being touted as Doran's heir in the press release, that indicates that Arianne is probably out.

But given that the showrunners are committed to a 7 season run, we were always going to lose a certain amount of characters.

Someone in the audience asked about LS at comic con and he was cut off before even getting to ask the question to the end. Ferguson said it was not allowed. Very odd wouldnt you guys say ?

No, it was established that the crowd was not to ask about stuff from the books that wasn't in the show as of yet.

I figured things would cut heavy as well but it never crossed my mind that Arianne would she is such a big part of #4 and seems to be a huge role in #6. Quintan could be cut easily or merged with Trystane.

The thing is D & D know what comes next and who isn't needed. Like if Quintan would have survived ADWD I would have said he wouldn't have been cut either so who knows. People can seem important and then boom they aren't.

I think it would be a mistake to assume that Arianne won't be important in the final books simply because she doesn't make the cut on the TV show. D&D clearly want to limit the number of characters they bring in, so in a case like this I think we will see her actions being performed by other characters that they deem more crucial to the story that they're trying to tell.

Featuring the Sand Snakes is obvious, because Oberyn made such an impression. They'll want characters who have a close connection to such a fan favorite character. Undoubtedly, some of Arianne's story functions will probably be shifted to one or more of them. Likewise, with her character already introduced, I believe that Ellaria will fill this function as well (they didn't hire Indira Varma just to have her fade into the background).

I think the show and books will obviously share certain story outlines and will end, for the most part, in the same way. But I expect a lot of the details to differ when all is said and done.

Out of the news we find out today and you still focus on LS?

Anyways, I'm really looking forward to season 5 Dorne was my favorite part about AFFC. So it'll be exciting to see it come to life.
